but my acer 5750G rm2899...i think im scammed =/

im from Miri...and a lot of people are looking at this model too

I have one old laptop, acer 4736g, with core 2 duo 2.1GHz, G105m...

and i never have the chance to get a desktop...

I think when you start typing, the touchpad will automatically switch off, so you won't be annoyed by the touchpad when you're typing.
But there is a disadvantage which is when you just type a character, it turns off as well, so you'll feel like there's a delay or lag.

(Though the promoter didn't understand this laptop well, didn't know there were 2x2GB RAMs inside instead of 1x4GB,
I didn't manage to upgrade my RAM to 8GB, but I'm still happy with this laptop.)

If the FPS is around 40 - 60. Its smooth.


If the FPS is less than 30, then its lagging. You either need to lower the settings or cap the fps.


I cap my crysis 2 FPS at 30 because I see consoles like PS3 and xbox360 are also running crysis 2 on 30 FPS.

Crysis 2 has 3 settings only, HIGH, VERY HIGH, EXTREME.

I have a laptop with the same specs like you guys with a GT540M graphic, I tried Crysis 2 on it.

1. If I set the settings to HIGH (lowest), I get 30 - 50 FPS
2. If I set the settings to VERY HIGH (medium), I get 20 - 30 FPS
3. If I set the settings to EXTREME (highest), can't play the game at all because the screen keeps tearing and most of the details and objects get distorted.


Note that I'm running it on 1366x768 resolution.


And there's a mission where you have to enter a room with fire all over the wall, I get less than 30 FPS =.=

5830TG not sold in Malaysia...if got, I will buy it instead of my 5750G. Better specs with blu ray player.


nvm la...i go buy ps3. No need to worry about this technology loop in future...so many powerful specs out there!!!
