70% on idle? nvr happened to me. maybe all those bloatwares, processes running in the background i guess. i repartitional n install a fresh copy (vanilla) of windows 7 since day 1 smile.gif dont even bother to make dvd recovery.haha.

8 hours ,yes, but minimal settings everything.thats normally marketing gimmick only. when newly bought it can get 6 7 hours ++.now, its around 5hours. anyways, u defintiely do not to hunt for electrical outlet at mcddonals or coffeebean, starbucks to make sure ur laptop doesnt run out of battery. smile.gifi LOL when see people are looking for electrical outlets.hehe.

Hi Everyone.

I just registered here to ask a question.

I've already returned a 3830TG because of battery wear problems. It was around 30% in just 2 weeks!

Now I've bought the T model without the nvidia card, and wear level is once again increasing. This is my first day using it and I'm already at 4% wear. I have the Panasonic battery.

Do you guys have this problem? If so, did Acer change your battery to Sanyo?

Thanx Alot lee_what2004 & notroxcity smile.gif smile.gif

My Needs are just Like syedkamal92 ,, Exactly biggrin.gif

So do u recommend 4830TG??,, I have the same Budget too biggrin.gif

Which means I can buy 4830TG , or another laptop that is SLIGHTLY , VERY SLIGHTLY more Expensive biggrin.gif

so do I go for 4830TG ? smile.gif

+

IMPORTANT Question ,, 4830TG's Battery is Built-in,,
What happens If the Battery isn't workin fine n need 2 be Replaced??
Can Service Center Replace it 4 a new one?
Or I'll have 2 sell the laptop for 4$ and get a new one?!!

thanx smile.gif

YES! i do have problem with the battery wear level.. but after i do recalibration, my battery wear goes back to at least 2%, and it still managed to get 5 hours and 45 minutes max on wifi. So i will still just hold it for a moment before claiming on battery warranty. smile.gif

i suggest because the price is pretty much the same if you're good at bargaining.. difference around RM100-RM200 depends on how good you can get it. the RRP is RM2699 if i'm not mistaken, ask sifu lee. smile.gif and bout the spec, definitely AWESOMER than 4830TG. biggrin.gif

like i explain to syedkamal92, if you're planning on gaming, just forget about 4830TG, if you want it for the design and lightweight, (which i believe the Asus N45SF is pretty much lightweight as well) then you can buy the 4830TG. smile.gif
