@notroxcity: what's your Resident Evil 5 internal benchmark score? That ngkhanmein only get 30-40 FPS? Although his card is 5650, it should not be too much difference.

all high like him also get 39-43 fps!

4830TG has throttling issue. it has been confirmed by multiple reviews and many users in NBR

the cpu will slow down to 1.2ghz when you push both the GPU+CPU in benchmarking and in heavy gaming. the reasons for throttling is due to really low triggering temperature / power and poor heat management for the GPU+CPU combination.

however, i didnt see anyone discuss about it here in LYT. everyone just simply gaga over the slim profile and its blue color.

that's mean 2nd gen of timelineX also shit happening.. what bout 5830tg? can ask sg forum!

Hey guys, I just got myself the 4830TG and I have a problem. I uninstalled McAfee and when I restart my laptop I got an error saying

Can't find script engine "VBScript" for script "C:\OEM\Preload\utility_NowIntoDT.vbs".

Click Start , search Run and enter and in the Run textbox type "regsvr32 VBScript" without the "" and enter

since i dun play much game it does affect me...

Hi guys, does this laptop will very hot ? I means the temperature of external faces,

i can't update my intel HD3000, or even my nvidia 540m driver, it's damn hard using this optimus technology. sighh, kinda regret buying it.

well..u have to use modded INF file to update ur NVIDIA gpu driver to da latest 275.33 driver...ive posted directions in this thread. u have to do some digging. i think it was atleast 3 weeks ago...definitely after 1st of june as i immediately updated my driver as 275.33 is official. dont regret buying this laptop. da problem isnt da laptop, its acer. they havent updated the drivers..

Guys, how do u guys this laptop since the battery is detachable? Always plug in the cable or recharge when battery power gonna empty ?

i believe u mean so... i use it as normal where charge till battery full,then off the power supply n continue use it... when the battery low,charge it again...

that's my battery wear level, i just bought my laptop on 26/6/2011, look at the battery wear now. lol. i suspect it happens because yesterday i charge my laptop using the shut down method, i left it for about 4 hours after it has already full i think, then suddenly my battery wear drops that much. before this my battery wear is always 0.00%. haihh..
