How you know it's launching on next Friday, any office news from the website?

Beouwulf told us there will be an Acer event that will officially launch Acer Iconia, TimelineX 4830... The event will start next Tuesday in Lowyat Concourse... I will go check it out brows.gif

(question, how many post needed to get 3 stars?)

Do you think there will be any benefit for the buyer to purchase their unit from the event? Example like extra warranty?

Not sure if there is anything extra, not even sure if you can buy it in the event! But if you can, you reserved the right to brag about your new machine here! laugh.gif I am sure a lot of people interested to see how the 4830TG perform... so far, most review on on 4830T... the one without the nVidia 540M...

Well, I've seen bad experience Acer users, including me. 2 top model, 1 normal range. All of their mobo no last longer than 3 yrs. What do u say about quality? U think of it with ur brain.

some people prefer the new chiclet keyboard, mostly because they worry of dust stuck in the old TimelineX floating-island keyboard... i have been using it 5 months, only clean it once... so, no problem for me...

some people prefer the old floating-island keyboard because you can type very fast with it...

for me, i still hate both keyboard because of the small directional keys... may be fine if u dont play game...
