seriously? if that is indeed true, that's definitely a very good news! i already planned to go to lowyat tomorow to pickup one. but planning to do some cash rebate/no free gift plus haggling on the warranty extension. i seem to recall dat the RM198 supercare, was sold to me for under RM100 when i bought a laptop at the end of 2008 n also another laptop which i bought earlier this year....hurm...

Got it during PC Fair Batu Pahat last Sunday.

seriously i went lowyat that day. They know this model is hot selling and only 2 shops selling it. one is acer itself and another 1 is just normal small shop.

both also LCLY selling this laptop. Cant get the price of 2400.

i'm currently waiting for my 4830tg to be in my hand (waiting for stocks).
do you know if i can install windows XP easily in the laptop? is the driver available? thanks

Forgot to mention that, I got my lappy in rm2710 with 3 yrs warranty+ onsite services+ 4gb ram. I exchange 1 of the 2gb ram inside and replace it with 4gb. So my lappy now has 6gb ram.

just wanna know, does acer comes with on-site warranty? how about the speaker for this lappy, is it loud?

i am using dell now, dell lappy have loud speaker. but its too old, have to change one. so hard to decide between inspiron 14/15r and this one.
both price seems the same
