Also the processors speed is mostly base on the cache memory if not mistaken.

4830tg is offering 3mb cache memory and 5750g is offering 6mb cache.

thats lot of different.

if the 4830tg battery is built in. then it wont cause battery wear after charging it overtime? because as i know when it is charging usually we take off the battery.

There is one more thing. the discharge voltage of this lappy is not constant although i doing nothing just leave it idle... Any solution?

The build in battery is connected to mainboard with cable, needs some skill to remove it and so troublesome doh.gif
There is a battery switch inside the casing at the bottom part. you can insert a pin thro' the hole at back casing to switch off battery.

The build in battery sweat sweat.gif beside the heat generator.

Waiting more post mortem pics from pro, esp the heatsink. notworthy.gif

There's no such thing as overcharging nowadays.. The battery stops charging itself when it's full.. The thing that increase wear level is heat from the laptop..

reading the dismantling on 4830TG.. Apprently it will be a fuss to dismantle.. the best thing it to only disable the power but still the heat will not stop..

any of you guys having battery wear edi?

I have one old laptop, acer 4736g, with core 2 duo 2.1GHz, G105m...

and i never have the chance to get a desktop...

i have a bit knowledge only
