QUOTE(mudster @ Apr 19 2011, 12:24 AM)
My office gave me a T410 to use for official stuff. I love the matte screen. And the screen resolution is 16:10, and not 16:9. I think only Business level laptops (lenovo thinkpads, dell latitude) have matte screen option.

I wish laptops manufacturers give the option for non-glossy screens.

I think that's Lenovo. IBM sold their consumer computer line quite a while back smile.gif

If 4830TG can only last 3hours, then 5750G can only last 2hours at most lol.. Your fren's laptop must have too much junk and spyware running in the background for it to only last 3hours

Anyways, if your purpose is gaming, quad core n dual core makes little difference.. Only get quad if you're using those engineering software or Photoshop which utilises the extra cores..

Haha, quite clear isn't it?

Just see whether you prefer paying more for larger screen and full sized keyboard or paying less for a much better design, longer battery life, lighter laptop?

Nah, it's still new... More stocks will come in soon I guess... Last time there's a period of time 4820TG had stock shortage also during their HD5650 version release, not as serious as 4830TG la I guess..

yep. even 5750g also out of stock for few days back then. bad thing for acer good thing for potential buyers as hordes of 14" machinery are flooding into market now.

I heard from the PC fair that it would take at least one week for stock to be available
