Is HCE a Germany brand or is a OEM product designed in Germany? Google doesn't seem to know any information on this brand. I don't see an official site only found out a local site at www.hce.com.my which doesn't have much info though.
*
It is made in China also. Any brand that does not specify MADE in "Where" then you can assume it is from China. Many brands just put Italy or Germany or Spain next to their brand but they dont speciy Made in or Design in or Etc = made in china

Notice you have been asking filter, sinks and etc more than 6 months ago, so you are ready to renovate now? I believe you have not drop by my shop yet, we are having clearance sales now Today only, can click on my signature for some of the promos. Do ask for zean when u r in my shop and inform me you are echoesian smile.gif

Hi Zheilwane,

Any promotion for undermount double bowl sink?

Kindly PM me the price. TQ

We are on SALES this week til 15 Oct, all prices only for walk in customers and we wont advertise our pricing online during this period

Many places advertise SALES 50-70% i believe many of you went to these SALES before and got disappointed.I went to similar sales as well when i shop for baby items and felt cheated. Eg : Sterilzer i got it for RM 299 during baby expo, went to Philip Warehouse Sales (50% off) was quoted RM 309 (wasted my time and petrol)

Most importantly, get your checklist ready (know what you want) and check market price then drop by my shop for the final bargain, you can save 5% - 20% compared to prices you surveyed.

Hi bro, many customers fall in love with the HCE KS9049 when they see the actual product. The sink is so BIG and good for washing big pots and woks. The only sink that can actually fit a big WOK specially designed by my company and manufactured by HCE, so it is one a kind. A new design will be coming soon by end of this year smile.gif

Sorry, unable to trade in for the KS9545 as i dont keep stock for it, special order just for you

for small items u can take the risk and buy from taobao. Kitchen sink is something that will be installed permanently 10 - 20 years, so not worth taking the risk. U save may be RM 200 ( per year RM 10) but in case leak or rust u nd to waste more money to place it if u install it as undermount. Even importers got cheated by facotires in china. Claim to be 304 grade but given 202 grade steel.

Sink could also be damaged during shipment, even i courier sinks within domestic, some dented. waste time to return and wait next shipment

i wanna buy this kitchen sink 5mm thickness https://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?spm=a1z10...d=3713962168171

unsure to proceed to buy from tmall or just buy locally, local sink pricingĀ  bangwall.gif
*
i think only the skirting is 5mm not the entire sink. sorry cant read mandarin, so cant check the details. In malaysia there are 3mm sinks and suppliers confirm only the skirting or edges not the entire sink.

as 5mm is thick, if u plan to undermount it, it will be extra work for the carpenter and they might charge extra, unless ur top is tiles. do double check with carpenter

if u wanna know more, u can drop by my shop to compare and i will explain the details hw to get a good and practical sink. U may ask for zean, show me the photo of the sink u wanted to get and ask me for some info.

This sink is not good for washing big stuff, inner bowl size 360mm only (most standard sinks have 380-400mm, while HCE chef series 450mm biggest so far in the market). Moreover, kitchen sinks are usually designed to stack on each other to save shipment cost, hence if the upper of the sink is 360mm, the inner could be 340mm only. a standard wok at home diameter is 400mm excluding the handle. I have similar shape sink in my showroom, so u can look and compare. If mainly for design n not for washing, then it looks good and modern

Anyone heard of superino nano sink before? Hows their quality? Their pricing is quite attractive.

i would suggest to avoid nano sinks as they are not as scratch resistant as granite sinks, since it is black in colour, any minor scratches will make it look ugly, regular hair line stainless steel would b better.

NANO = a coating like car nano coat, wont last forever.

Some nano sinks claim to have warranty but definitely no guarantee against scratches. Nano Sink price Vs Normal Sink price +- RM 80 only, not much hence many ppl might consider NANO.

Some brands sell NANO sink cheaper than regular steel sink, according to suppliers, they use lower grade steel then coat it hence it would not rust, so dont really need to use 304 grade steel. However, if u dont take care of the coating and damage the coating, it could rust.

GRANITE is really scratch resistant as i m using it but not stain resistant. Hence, if u were to ask me to suggest, i would go for regular hair line satin finish stainless steel

There are so many brands out there, most of them look similar as they are OEM in china with standard size and designs, many customers are looking sinks that are deep the prevent water splashing, however that is not the problem. Problem is the size of the sink, ur sink must b big enough to fit the pots and woks straight in, hence water will only splash inside the sink and not on top of it. As standard table top is 600mm, most manufacturers only order 440 to 450mm stainless steel sheet, hence rarely u will find a sink that is big enough to fit a wok.

HCE Chef series is a customized design sink (not the standard type by manufacturer) tailored made to fit Asian wok size (40cm diameter). I believe this the best kitchen sink design & size that you can ever find and fit on the standard table top size of 600mm.

I like the Kraus sink but seem to hard to find in KL. Got a deal in Amazon that I can consider but the shipping and handling is more than the cost of the sink! That said the sink price is very cheap. With all costs in do you think worth buying??

What technology or special about kraus as similar design u can get it below RM 700 in malaysia example HCE brand with 1.2mm thickness, except they do not have the bottom rack accessory

i tried looking at their website, cant find any info about their brand except it is from USA. is it scratch proof or etc that make it so exp? interested to know as well smile.gif

I think it is German brand but sold well in US. I am not sure but it can be manufactured in China as well. It's Sinks are made from extra-tough T304 stainless steel for exceptional resistance to corrosion and rust. It is constructed using dent-resistant TRU16 real 16 gauge with 1.5mm thick. The bottom of the sink is padded to improve sound proofing. So the sinks are very quiet and durable.

One of the better stainless steel sinks around.
*
All sinks will have rubber padded at the bottom to reduce noise as well.

Done more research online, they claim to be using T304 stainless steel, it is actually the same as local term SUS304

"T304 (or type 304) and SUS304 are the same. T304 is the american term, SUS304 is the japanese JIS term" copied online

So basically if u can scout for brands that are 1.5mm with sus304, it will be similar to KRAUS. it is easy to get 1.2mm sinks as they are already very tough (our older sinks usually are 0.8 - 1mm and already can last us many years), recent trend is 1.2mm but i do know some brands with 1.5mm and some even 3mm. However, from what i know some brands that are giving 1.5 or 3mm at the edges only while the bowl is only 1mm or 0.9mm. Manufacturers welded the 1.5mm or 3mm edges to the 1mm bowl.

Thanks for the info. Kraus thickness of 1.5mm is for the entire sink. What is the thickness is HCE chef series? I may drop by your shop to check it out. I assume you carry Teka too? Franke?
*
no bro i dont carry teka or franke. Most hand made sinks are the same thickness for entire sink while some brands do cut some corners promising 3mm or 1.5mm but not entire sink, hard to tell also as they have a thick layer of coating behind of the sink
