Hi guys? I'm a biker and a driver as well.
I would like to know the information of the first 1000km service for new vehicles.
Is it true that we will need to service the car or bike for the first 1000km before we can push it to full throttle?
I've heard of the mechanics saying that the vehicles needs to "warm up the pistons and valves first" then change the oil and filter, after that you're ready to go.
Possible if we get the new vehicles under 1000km and then change the oil and filter then straight ahead full throttle?
Need some advice. Thanks.

Understand the information you provided.
But can you confirm that after 1000km?
You can truly utilize the engine by going full throttle?
Is it 100% safe? I mean i know going full throttle will do harm to your engine.
Even race cars also will get damaged. So better to play safe we should just stick below the Red line in the RPM limit. Am i correct?

just replace ur engine oil and oil filter below 300km. dont get it 1k...
after that, use better engine oil...ok

just throttling your bike, ignore all the 'pantang' thing or safe break-in.

the best way to break in is to ride it super fast, then slow...then maintain mid-fast than slow again, than fast again...do it again and again...only in a week...at the next day you can ride it super fast all the way. no worries

dont keep it in slow ride, it would leak the piston ring...go fast bro!

I see, so are you serious about this?
I'm getting my new vehicle next monday and i will be leaving for a 400km distance ride. The reason i created this topic is i need to go there urgently on the 1st of April. 1 week can out run 1000km? Haha, Even if i can it would suck my petrol dry. So as in the break in part. Is it safe to try then??

1st 100km you change to better mineral oil, after reach 1000km change again to performance oil...dont wait until 1000k for the 1st change, all the metal thing out from the new engine parts will ruine the engine...

about the break-in method i suggest...dont worry...i do this on my cub-bike...still tough until now, 2 years already.

I see, well. Thanks for your advice bro. I understand now. But about the break in thing, i'm just gonna stick maybe slow. Haha. Just to play safe.
