have to check back your construction plan, if the wall you want to hack is the main support, then of coz can not.

I do not think it is allowed in a modern day condo..especially it is affecting the facade and unified outlook of the condo. Is not abt 'm'sia allow or not..', is about whether it is againsts your condo's house rules so check with mgmt office.

Need to check with the developers, condos nowadays does not allow you to do modification to items such as balcony. But if its inside the house and not affecting the concrete support, it should be ok. Still, check with developer for caution.

condo usually have the main supporting "bone", as long as you don't touch the "bone", you can get rid of any wall you like.

you have to refer back to the structural drawings. Go check with the structural design engineer. Until you do so, and given the green light, better not hack any walls as they could be load bearing wall. You don't want any accident to happen, do you? biggrin.gif

actually, they are two type of supporting.. like you said, main supporting bone, and secondly, also have been mentioned before,
it also rely on load bearing rc wall (the wall become one of the main supporters of the building).

so, that's why for high rise building, people cannot simply hack the wall.. but for normal terrace house, even if the house got
no walls at on all sides also it won't collapse.
