I'm not sure is this the right place. Currently my house are under renovation. After 2 week got indian fella come and take red packet (ang pow) RM200. I'm not sure wether give or not. My option are :

1) Report police (will they gang come and disturb me?)
2) Give the money, will they come back and ask for more?

I did consult my contractor, they say this is not their responsibilities. Now i very headache for this, did anyone encounter this issue b4? ls advice me

House locate at Klang Bukit Raja. Nearby got some ppl come in and start stay already.

there is another alternative. Tell the fella that u already paid the money to another guy.

i'm not sure will work or not. Coz i make appoinment with him this sat in front of my house. Can i say i bought this house from my uncle? last time my uncle already pay. Will he ask i pay to who

lodge a police report,who the hell are them?this kinda extortion should be lodged,pay them for nothing ,the more u entertain them,the more often they gonna pay ur house a visit,trust me

really never thought of this thing before.....but they could intimidate you too if you against them....its quite a dillemma indeed.

But wise choice is.....check with neighbourhood. If none is paying....then ignore them or report police.

I encountered such problem before. How I deal with them? I get all his people and gang to come and meet me up. The gang have only three head. I paid each of them RM200 and told them and this will be the first and last time I'm paying you and settle. Till today, they no longer come and disturb me. Always remember to settle with them nicely. No point being rude with them. Just treat them as your friends and if you're kind enough, bring them out for a drink and chit-chat with them.

u must rmb they are on the dark side, you will never know what is their next move. If i were in ur shoes, i will just pay, since it is only RM 200.

Just wander will the story end after pay, however, i also dont have any other alternative solution.

I will not pay , why i need to pay them since my renovation alraedy pay to government ..Said no those this kind on nonsesense if you have money better donate to those needed people

thanks all for the reply, now still deciding give or report police. Last week they say meet up and end up they did not show up. Till yesterday call me again say want the money.

I very frustated, i feel like i'm ATM to them, when no money come find me take.

first of all, make sure if it's really from the underworld, not the dadah fella....

i think just pay up the RM200 and tell them nicely and get his hp no......i think it wont happen second time lar..even underworld got rules...

the issue will remain unsolved if someone keep on paying these people....Report Police.

if the area is full of these craps police probably won't be of help.. It is easy to say than done by just saying 'report to police' as I'm sure there are many aspect of life that one has to consider especially if you have family members to worry about... I might go with what Night has suggested in the first instance...if that happens again then the next solution has to be derived somehow..

Klang is known for Indian gansta.....no point arguing with them. You are the loosing party. You know la, these gansta also fren with the, ahem 'uniform' people.

They can just splash paint on your car next time.
But again, to pay them off, make you you do it properly so that they don't come again.

Thank for all the help, i will try nego with them and give them RM100. Right now my house reno use a lot of money. All they want is money only, i think i rather give them and ease my headache.

i know i should not give, but you will be worry a lot if you really move in to the house. You will worry when they will come and disturb. Break this and that and many thing. Because of this issue, quite a few day i can't sleep well.

Give for the first time, 2nd time come report to police. Make sure you hint that you will not tolerate the 2nd time so that they will not disturb you again.

You might not know what they will do to your loved ones, if it is money they want then all is good, afraid they cannot get money they will hurt the ladies in your house.

Of course the correct way is to report to the police but since our police force is nothing but "licensed" gangster, I don't see much benefit coming out of it.

These police are even more afraid of them than you.

if this is the case nego wit them pay only once tell them politely. if wanna be hero take video of the deal u r making with them and send to police not the normal balai straight to IPK klang but there is alwiz danger to this if police r behind them.

Maybe you can try to find out if your new neighbours have encountered the same problem and if they did, how did they resolve it?

pay or no pay will settle the problem or not is very dependable, I will pay if only rm200, but i will choose the venue like crowd place, they wun appear if they scare.

Klang Bandar Bukit Raja?? its just sitting next to Taman Klang Utama. Klang Utama is the hub of all this gangsters. used to stay there when i was in primary school when the chinese gang still in power. but now, all is over taken by the indians and its a lot worst now. so moved to Cheras already, at least the gang in power is still chinese which will give some face to their own race.

waaa lucky my place no gangstar gangstar, or maybe i didnt meet them.
