yeah, that is the best solution.
wireless hd is very-very new.
we are talking about pumping 8~10Gbps data to the LCD.
wireless HD maybe compress the data first, then transmit it and decode back. its maybe very expensive than buying HDMI cable. Also maybe have lags, loss of quality on unreliable.

Currently i found philips TV capable to receive HD video from PC via WIFI.
