xbox old dashboard and error e71, a bit of help

can i change my dasboard to old xbox dashboard 2005 version ? xbox dashboard is so so simple compared to 1st nxe and 2005 versions i missed that 2005 dashboard ..is there any way ??
and also i got this error e71 when playing assasin creed i heard ass creed update cause this . anyway to repair ?

nope. just update to the latest nxe u wouldnt get e71. older firmware is the one causing it.

Some people will always like old one.
I dunno how the old one is, I start with new 360 dashboard, and I agree that mine has sound when moving up/down/left/right. Maybe the sound is just much softer now (I admit, TV volume on mine when using 360 is somewhere between 40-50. Compare to PS3 and Wii, which are at 30-40 each. Otoh my 360 is connected by VGA and passes through my DVB-T STB, so I can get RTM Digital channels and also switch between 360 and PS2).
