After flashing several rom,i think it is better stick with XXJVK(even Europe release) for this time being since the speed performance, battery life much more better than previous stock roms.

So we can flash with two method for JVK either flashed with bootloader means we don't use pit and no need to repartition.
Then other one taken from samsfirmware,we should use pit 512,need to repartition. This post has been edited by phyz: Apr 13 2011, 09:42 PM |

QUOTE(cybersim2 @ Apr 14 2011, 04:32 PM) If I installed Speedmod Kernel or any custom roms, do I still need to install Lagfix ? If you already flashed the SpeedMod Kernel you might need to use lagfix to fix the lagging problem for ur phone and i think you don't have to do lagfix if you use custom rom.Correct me if i was wrong.I'm new to Android, so a bit confusing for me. For iPhone I only need to jailbreak them "AHEM" But for Android seem like i got to more lot thing to install..duno whr to start This post has been edited by phyz: Apr 14 2011, 04:58 PM |

Mine currently on XXJVK,unplugged for 4 hour and got 75% left with 2G data network.Sync my gmail, flow,ym & twitter.Download & surf about total 30 minute. While i use screen filter to reduce the power usage for display setting.

QUOTE(fuadsyazwan @ Apr 18 2011, 01:14 PM) If that so,i think i'll be waiting the latest later Added on April 18, 2011, 1:17 pm QUOTE(lowyard @ Apr 18 2011, 01:06 PM) Battery drain issues. At first, suggestion by mengsuan really help in page 64. But now, its not the cause anymore. In 5 hours, 50% is lost. 76% by android os. 8% by display. Helps are very much appreciated. Might need Advance Task Killer to kill unnecessary apps running background. This post has been edited by phyz: Apr 18 2011, 01:17 PM |
