sounds simple. how simple it is? i think this one with the blue theme right? i think i flashed it already honey something right? yeah sure its easy
try Doc's Kitchen as mentioned above bcoz some may not like the blue theme. tat's the 1st thing I tried.. ages ago it's good to select what u want in ur rom. and those bootanimations etc..
yea! it offer customizablity! ehe. i aware about that. ehe. i dunno. can i just try MIUI? it said there. better battery life from CM7, actually i tried CM7 on my mi300 before. and its cool. but battery wise, it sucks.
best battery life so far will be the unofficial official Gingerbread
you have any link where can i learn about "ext4 filesystem"??
this matter has been confusing me for quite sometime.
are u using 1500mAh sun-global battery?
google, or head right to xda-developers forum to read what u don understand. if u spend ur time reading there, u'll end up answering ur own questions to others next time
im using kitchen now. is there any kernel for kictchen?
make sure u browse every tab of the kitchen to see what u're customising. Speedmod is the recommended one, u have to learn how to enable its tweaks too

i browse every tab already. ok i chose the kernel, and installed. nicely done. im genius xD erm. i have the rom from kitchen and im quite satisfy with go launcher. and i think that i wanted to stay.
so.now.can i install speedmod vodoo kernel? i tot it might only work for stock ROM. i dunno that is why im asking. thx
u've chosen Speedmod kernel using the kitchen, don't have to install Speedmod anymore. Besides, Speedmod and Voodoo is 2 different kernels
let's not forget that Xperia Arc launcher is floating around even before Xperia Arc is release. so, anything's possible.
what I mean is we can't get it for now though someone oredi has his hands on it, coz we don't even see Touchwiz4 floating around for downloads maybe insider or sth

I see that you have removed Criskelo ROM in your siggie....you decided to stick with MIUI Rom for now?
Is the camera quality with MIUI really that bad?
I need to use the camera and video recording function.....hence, still hesitant to try MIUI...appreciate your feedback.
Thanks
if that's wad u're considering, better stick with Samsung's camera. Of coz, u can try and flash for fun and see it for urself that's wad holding me back too

Our SGS thread is moving very slowly...nothing interesting to flash meh???...
if official gingerbread and its source code released, imagine those custom roms, kernels etc etc... lightning flash!!

wahhh the MIUI rom finally put our SGS in supported devices!
edit: somehow i feel lucky to have galaxy s rather than nexus s cause in XDA development, we got about 998 development threads for our SGS compare to nexus s which only got 88 threads. seems like SGS is really really a famous phone out there.
bcoz Galaxy S has much more things to be developed from the start. for ex. lag
Added on April 16, 2011, 7:25 amlooks like official Gingerbread is coming. lots of Samsung sites show Gingerbread user manual, now waiting for sourcecode. some even say it's actually scheduled for release yesterday, we just have to wait til next week and see for ourselves http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.p...46&postcount=32
