I think the superAmoled Galaxy S new stock has dried up all over the country. Second hand maybe or the Galaxy SL.

You got use 3G watchdog? 10+% is ok for me. Last time I got experience more than that. Try put to flight mode when you sleep and check how much it drops..

There is an app to backup and restore kernel only, forgot the name. Search for 'kernel' in the android market.

Google Pinyin keyboard. Can be downloaded from the android market. There are many others actually. Just search for chinese keyboard in the market and it returns many...

I think most of the 2.2.1 ROMs are stable. Any one will do.

2.3.3 also stable IMO, but only thing is, still not fully compatible with all the apps in the market.

Actually you can backup everything under the system filter. Then you won't miss it.

Anyway, here is the correct back up:

Set APN manually first. The instructions on the first post.

Strange, update thru Kies shouldn't have this problem..

Autokiller on XXJVK drains alot of battery. Overnight drains me 60%++.
Uninstall and it is back to normal dy.

The reason I use Autokiller is because I find that JVK memory settings is a bit strict. Whenever I use LW, it tends to kill my GO Launcher EX whenever I start a new app.

Sometimes xxjvk will drain battery, n the battery usage show android os draining highest percentage of battery. Anyone know wat is that?

xxjvk is very less battery draining when the android os do not drain battery...

I am using the jvk files from samfirmware. It comes with bootloader. I follow the instructions on theandroidsoul.

SGS2 is indeed a worthy upgrades of SGS. Bigger yet lighter than SGS. Of course, SGS2 is packed with whole lot of hardware power and features that probably will kick Atrix into a no 2 slot. (Atrix did claim to be the world's most powerful phone)
