QUOTE(kennt0312 @ Jul 6 2012, 08:44 AM) easy, connect wifi/ur mobile network, your device will automatically received a upgrade notification from htc. click accept & the it will start download, 303MB. i do always online and connect my phone through wifi, but get no upgrade notification.after finish download, click ok to upgrade it. & upgrading the phone will need some time. actually not considered as not stable, just some of the apps not fully support ics i guess. the screen is much more smoother than gingerbread. besides that, my unit is not SIS / ori unit, is from a AP distributor. will it be a problem for this to get an update notification? |

QUOTE(kennt0312 @ Jul 13 2012, 08:40 AM) you can actually bring your device to htc center for inquiry, & at the same time check is your device asia or original set. you can also email them & their response is very quick. ya, i do sent an email to them regarding this matter.every e3D should be already received the notification for ics upgrade. they asked me to wait for around 2 more weeks while they r still rolling their update country by country. but not for my unit. what to do? WAIT besides that, heard a lot of apps malfunction, bug and crash, still wondering should i wait until it is stable first then only update or just ignore and update it. |

QUOTE(mysql2779 @ Jul 15 2012, 12:13 AM) Hey guys, is it true that S-off and unlocked Evo 3D can't get official ICS update ? I have been checking for update for whole day. No result. no idea, so goes to me. asked HTC assistance, they said wait for the notification. otherwise, bring along the device to check with HTC service center. zzz |
