yeh,,,, custom kernel/rom is the way to go... more snappier and lots more gooding... mine on unlock with S-Off custom kernel and rom.... worth it.......so far no porblem except my itchy hand to flash various roms

if i am not mistaken la.... uninstall HTC sync on your desktop.... install HTC driver(with android SDk all that la).... download stock RUU and run on your desktop... (follow steps la) make sure correct rom(wrong rom will show error 1).....(delete PG86IMG.zip) on your sd la(simply).... see if works a not....
where did you put PG86IMG.zip?(it should be in the root of the sd not in a folder(thats what i think la) trial and error) Added on August 6, 2012, 3:57 amPlease make back up.... download the latest stock... then launch it on your desktop thern follow(did the same also) make sure its the correct rom... hehehe.... mix and match from XDA developers....(lifsavers)...

if you try to flash kernel on HBOOT-1.53.0007 you will brick your phone(read this on xda) something like that la, so have to downgrade hboot(like it did)... but y u wanna load arabic ruu... ur phone arab buy 1 ar... if asia 1 use ics asia 1 la..

from what i read in forums la... htc sync need to be removed la... then install htc driver and then sdk manager then let it to download all the update's.. then good to go la... thats what i did la....
then u download the latest stock rom then launch on your desktop(your phone connected and in ) la... reboot device in bootloader mode > fastboot > plug in usb cable until u see FASTBOOT USB on device screen taken from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1248231 all credit goes to them all XDA developers for their contribution......
