So means i can upgrade without backing up anything at all? Apps will still be there? Will my SD card be wiped?

So far all the programs still remain..SD card not be wiped..all the data still in there..

Yay! Finally got ICS!  Took > 30min to fully upgraded. 

A few observations after an hour of usage:
1. It appears all my apps, apps data, sms, contacts, call logs remain intact after upgrades (I did complete backup before upgrade for just in case)
2. Icons at status bar are slightly smaller
3. Screen stay super bright after exiting Camera, and take 3-5 sec to slowly return to normal brightness
4. I like the gallery new look and effect. It also come with a few new groupings like 3D, All Videos and All Photos.
5. Sense 3.6 seems a bit more fluid. (swiping through the long list of apps.)
6. I used to have around 130mb free ram (forgot to do latest screenshot before upgrade), now got 270mb free ram.
7. Redo Antutu benchmark, before was 3639 (3 months back), now 4841 (RAM score 2x and CPU score 1.5x, not sure is it directly due to ICS) 

Hope others can do some comparison before/after upgrade, and share the new ICS experience as well.

I have install the official ICS updated but it seems that all my setting and my music playlist are gone. Any idea how to solve this problem.

Sound setting (exp: ringtone, notification tone) and even my music playlist are gone.

oh thanks. when i submit my application form then i just received an email from them state that my submission had successful but until now, close to 2 months already still never get anymore email from them. thanks for your info, i will go check out later when i am free.

After googling it I found out it is only for the Sprints (US carrier) EVO3D, but the movie can be found at XDA forum. Some one upload it there.

messenger, fb, both without notification. & my sms app, the lock is not functioning!! & the contacts inside the app remain the name that had set in sim card, & can't be amended with chinese wording. ><

i do always online and connect my phone through wifi, but get no upgrade notification.
besides that, my unit is not SIS / ori unit, is from a AP distributor. will it be a problem for this to get an update notification?

Hey guys, after upgraded to ICS, I noticed that there's a new app called "MySingTel". It's not in the menu, but u can see it if u go to manage applications. Tried uninstall but it keep coming back.

Ish, not that I stay in singpaore also.... And mine is ori SIS unit, not underwater from SG. Anyone had the same prob?

so far i really rarely see people using a htc phone, not to say E3d, i really never see others using it. but just quite proud to be using a phone that "unique" enough that not much people is using it. this is my 1st htc phone & it really impress me.

nowadays most of people also holding a samsung/apple.

i try to get those movies for my E3D .

Yurp - to many application being installed automaticly - i just uninstall them and not triggering any updates , manually. such as mysingtel.
by the way - anybody know what is app --> Chalkboard is for ? its auto install too .
new apps that auto install , that I like - > notes and tasks. previously dont have .
the settings screen .... so many things to read / understand. no time yet. busy at work. sleep at home. oh yeah . eye on road while driving. see ? no time yet.

bought 2 casing for E3D - casemate tough series and vintage leather protection , both buy thru garage sales.

S-OFF mainly to flash new radio that comes with ICS, and ICS/JB ROM's without facing kernel problem
