thank bros and i agreed but for the petro, PBB Visa Signature & AEON WATAMI Visa Classic Card get 0% I can't always go to petro station weekend.....and not all the shell station accept amex  rclxub.gif

then why not you get yourself a mbb vs to get 5% petrol rebate everyday? this can replace your mbb2cards or pbb vs (if you think you already have too many cards).

for limited time, you still have some ways to earn your petrol rebate with your existing cards (after cutting away uob one card).

1) aeon watami has 5% petrol cb at any petrol stations (until 01/09/14)
2) mbb2cards (visa/mastercard) has 3% petrol cb at caltex (until 13/10/14)

for your expenses pattern, mbb2cards must keep.
then maybe keep hlb wise if you have your categories chosen wisely and you know how to separate your transaction into rm50 each.
then lastly, ocbc titanium for other transaction which not covered.

Guys, sorry to bump up this thread but I need help now. My credit cards list is getting longer and longer which I think it is very dangerous and I'm afraid my future CC and loan applications will be rejected by banks. sweat.gif

1) MBB2Cards
2) HLB MACH
3) CIMB Cash Rebate
4) Aeon Gold
5) RHB Plat
6) OCBC GE Plat
7) AmBank Plat

Now my total CL is RM 120k which I don't think good for my credit exposure vs my puny salary.

I plan to add UOB VOX and MBB Ikhwan actually, already rejected once by MBB for Ikhwan, never want to be rejected for second time again. doh.gif

My expenses will be as follow after 1st August:
i) Dining - covered by MACH
ii) UniFi - hopefully can be covered by VOX
iii) Insurance - GE Plat
iv) Groceries - mainly for TnG reload (hopefully can be covered by Ikhwan)
v) Petrol - hopefully can be covered by Ikhwan
vi) DiGi/TNB - GE Plat
vii) Online transactions - hopefully can be covered by VOX
viii) Overseas transactions - Aeon Gold and GE Plat
ix) Others - GE Plat (1% cash rebate)

PPL Privilege - Aeon Gold (6x), AmBank (unlimited with simple conditions).

Am I right to say I should terminate my RHB Plat and CIMB CR? smile.gif Though I feel sad to say this, even my MBB2Cards as well? cry.gif
Earlier I applied RHB Plat for PPL access (4x with AF) and CIMB CR for online transactions but it seems VOX may be able to cover it.

Maybe I should replace all with just Aeon Watami and Ikhwan. laugh.gif Then PPL still stick to Aeon Gold and AmBank. laugh.gif

CUT:
3) CIMB Cash Rebate
5) RHB Plat
& pls, Don't feel Guilty to Convert Your M2C to Ikhwan CC - it already can cover your Petrol, Groceries expenses as the Dining goes to MACH... whistling.gif

if you really want to minimise your cards, this will be my suggestion too.

1) dining/unifi/insurance/digi/tnb/online/overseas/others goes to watami. you will lose around 1.6% on dining/unifi/online but you earn back around 2.4% on insurance/digi/tnb/overseas/others.
2) grocery/tng/petrol goes to ikhwan.
3) ppl goes to aeon gold and ambank. i know you want to use one of the card for your partner, otherwise can cut one of it, too lol).

having said the above, i think it's tough for you to get watami and ikhwan now, unless you cut your other cards first (maybe 1 month before apply) OR you cut your existing aeon gold cl to secure watami and mbb2cards cl for ikhwan.

Do take note the GE Plat 1% cash rebate is only applicable for the first 1k, after that it drops to 0.5%
