battery drain and low speaker volume... i just got my unit less than a week...should i start to learn how to do rooting and flashing ?

Hi guys,  how to exit stock Internet browser?

Just a quick question - if I downgrade from the latest FOTA to the earlier version to regain Root access, will the improvement brought by the new FOTA be gone too - what i mean is the louder audio after updated the FOTA.  I hardly miss call right now compared to previously - always kena complain by friends and family not picking up their calls before applying FOTA. 

If I want to downgrade back then I might just go for custom rom since it is just a few more clicks. 

See whether i got time or not during weekend.  Kinda lazy to "touch" my Desire HD lately - my battery life average more than 48 hours recently coz not much time to use it.

Issit ..well, atsu did change his radio to the older version one and he said that it drained more juice compared to 12.41 iinm ...well, maybe can try the OrangeUK radio, 12.28g that one..check it in XDA radio thread, FP got the link...
