QUOTE(syuki @ Mar 23 2011, 12:25 PM) Phone usage from morning until +- 12.30pm today. Stock rom, From 7am till 12.15pm battery drained 23% with a few minutes call and 15 minutes online and auto-sync everythingSTARTING FROM 100% BATTERY LEVEL Within 07.00 - 10.00 - Battery 99%. (idle mode, Wi-Fi on) - Call approx. 15 minutes. - Battery still not dropped. Within 10.00 - 10.30 - Battery start dropping 98%. (Wi-Fi on) - Around 15 SMS-es. - Battery maintain. Within 10.30 - 11.15 - Battery still 98% (Wi-fi on) - Using PowerAMP (35 min. external speaker / 10 min. in-ear earphone) - Listening to musics, but screen off. - On 11.13, off PowerAMP, battery dropped to 93%. ** Conclusion - assume if using external speaker will drain battery faster. Within 11.15 to 12.15 - Battery shows 93%. - on 11.30, online to internet. - Online using Dolphin browser / sync Pulse / update weather, fb / read news - Offline (Wi-Fi on), battery shows 90%. From 7am till 12.15pm battery drained 10%. but yet I'm still happy bcos b4 FOTA, the battery might drop to 50% d This post has been edited by jeffvip: Mar 23 2011, 12:41 PM |

QUOTE(wim1983 @ Mar 24 2011, 04:04 PM) haha funny...but I check HTC support page download section, there is not custom ROM (ARHD, LeeDroid, CoreDroid, etc) for downlaod too I believe safety shldn't be the problem. Looks like HTCPedia is kinda big 3rd party company. I m just worry bout the efficiency of 3rd party battery.you got your point, coz nobody test the "maybe dangerous" battery, so really need to verify and clarify the safety of the extended battery anybody who can validate that "HTCPedia"? eg. Ori battery is believe to have 95% effeciency means the output of ori battery is 95%x1230 = 1168mAH. But the efficiency of 3rd party battery maybe just 75%; means 0.75x1600 = 1200mAh. The actual advantage might not be that big in reality. |
