Did you flashed any custom ROM/radio/kernel/rooted before you update?

Never encountered such problem yet so far, but I remembered someone here had camera froze as well, while showing the camera to his iP4 friends, forgot if it's aeron or someone else.. blurred memory

You can, but you have to downgrade first. Try reading JenLOI's guide.. available in FP under "Rooting & Custom ROM" section.

Yes, you lose root and it's currently not possible to root on a 1.84 based stock rom. That's why have to downgrade first. JenLOI did it and flashed to custom ROM

Not 100% sure but maybe that was why your stock 1.84 is having errors. Most people here who upgraded stock, did not flash any customs with the phone; or at most, only rooting.

I'm not sure if you have to repeat those steps or not.. never tried stock 1.84

As for the andida battery, some users (online @ XDA Forum) reported that it's false-reported hi-capacity. It's only around 13xx~14xx mAh, but not as mentioned @ 18xx mAh.. No source for the link. Saw it long time ago and lost the link

I used Handcent SMS mainly due to its iPhone SMS theme.. I kinda 'prefer' the way iP4 shows SMS. Neat, simple, easy.

Did you do a software upgrade? What is your current version now? Check via Menu > Settings > About Phone > Software Information

If you haven't update anything, don't do so. Leave it as it is, then it's very easy to root, ENG S-OFF & RADIO S-OFF, flash new ROM, viola!

After you root, you can still unroot your phone.

Advanced power menu, if i'm not mistaken, is which the "power off menu" which appears when you hold power button

By default only 3 - Power Off, Restart, Airplane.

Advanced menu gives extra option like Restart to Recovery, etc..

My defender is dust attractor on the outside, but inside perfectly fine, no dust

As for SP, yeah, matte really make the quality
But I susah susah apply it perfectly, tak sanggup to take it off already, somemore now matte + defender = super thick, 1st few days tak biasa always cant press the screen (need more pressure to counter the gap between defender and screen )

Stock Sense UI I don't think can, but if you use LauncherPro or ADWLauncher, can rename by press-n-hold and change name.



Anyway, battery died on me with final 20 minutes of music play (with 2% battery left). Total hour ngam ngam ~48 hours

Total battery stats (Total since unplugged inaccurate.. 2 days ago plugged in to PC to xfer something for 1min.. )


Very satisfied with this ROM and battery life now
