there's 3 base of revoHD with various version, or you may refer to change log to know the improvement.

new OTA is 1.84 is known for improvement on sound, same goes for revoHD.

i use one now, but how to compare, never use kingston one.
the different is kingston one more expensive.
performance wise, it does what it say 10MB/s write (mostly more) ...
some more, its lifetime warranty (let luna confirm it!)

btw, DNA and sandisk is same lol

on revoHD 3.1, audio boost has been dropped 10% due to some people complaining sound not so nice, like speaker pecah.
i bet revoHD 3.0 has just similar audio boost with your friend rom.
