I won't be surprised if you hate the matte one after a week of use.

Matte sp compromises the screen quality by alot. Try using one for a week, then switch back to a clear sp, you'll wonder why the clear sp makes things so much...clearer.

It depends on your preference, if you find the compromise acceptable then its ok.

As an example, you know some LCD monitors are gloss or matte right? Try looking at both of them and see how the compromise is, its more or less the same with comparing screen protectors here

If you mean GB in general, I'm sticking with CM7

There's a version of Elegent Blues for CM7 RC2, in fact I'm using it right now

Use it with the battery fix and it gives more or less similar battery life with LeeDroid/RevoHD roms.

Was using the radio that came recommeded from LeeDroid 2.2, you can try that out

You can try out CM7 without switching the radio then

Yes you must, before you restore you need to wipe, otherwise you end up with both the backup data and the data beforehand
