Head Unit : Alpine 9887 (before), Alpine 7990 F1 (after)
Processor : Alpine H701 + C701
Component : Dominations Rasing 2way + Dominations F50
Amplifier : Genesis Profile 4 Ultra ( will be upgrade later )
Woofer : Genesis 12" sub
Soundproof : StP

PLEASE DON'T USE THE AFTER MARKET DOOR PANEL CASING
IT IS VERY BAD EFFECT TO UR MID BASS ( NO LOW BASS, NO MID BASS AND HIGH MID DAMN NOISY )

IF YOU REALLY WANNA UPGRADE UR MYVI GOOD SOUNG QUALITY ,SPEND MORE MONEY TO ASK A GOOD INSTALLER MODIFY UR DOOR PANEL

thx for sharing Myvi ICE installations! i want to see the rear trunk, need ideas for my car

i want to ask, based on the 1st picture, is the MDF rings screwed to the door metal, or attached to the plastic door panel (3rd pic)?

I can try to custom made a 10" inch woofer box, just install in ur right hand side trunk area.
And u need to modify the myvi door panel as well as possible, becos ur door panel installatiion no good, sound also no good tongue.gif

12 is better as it can dig lower hz easier...
but when boot space problem occur 10" is the option i think..
since mostly song's low fq range is reachable by 10", so it's a solution instead of sacrifice your boot space when boot space is really needed..
iirc mr.wong himself are changing to 10" from 12"... and he's driving myvi too

that, and when you put in hundreds, if not thousand of ringgit, your feet automatically would be careful too LOL!

and for passengers, you would lcly and tell them to be careful also XD

Your back board looks like it drooping a bit.
But I love the peerless!!!

Overall looks alright bro, BUT be careful of thieves. Better not park around Bandaran.
If you could match the speaker grills, would be +1 (but is small cosmetic improvement).

Here's another idea.
Change your backboard to 1 piece of plexi. Apply LED lights responsibly.
Can also plexi over your AudioSys amps if you want the boot space.

Good job.

Yea, looks like dropping, but actually the top board is slanting designed by the installer. The peerless is doing a great job at the moment, nice sub thumbup.gif

not much can be done for a small boot space, hope can change car so that space isn't a limitation issue

I need some advice. Already change my ICE:

HU: Kenwood KDC U353R
Power Amp: Kenwood KAC M526 2 channel
Rear speaker: Kenwood 3 way KFC M1632A
Front speaker: JVC 2way CS-V427

Do i need pre-amp or any other component?

*Not planning to install woofer/subwoofer. Noe enough space

You will need processor only when you are going into sq.

If you wanna use more amp, then you will need preamp, but I hate preamp
As most of time it will do more harm than good... Better to upgrade to a 3xpreout hu

You can try active sub or shallow sub which only require small space...
But pls be noted that your current hu has only 1 preout, if u use it for 2ch
Then no more left for sub signal smile.gif

12 is better as it can dig lower hz easier...
but when boot space problem occur 10" is the option i think..
since mostly song's low fq range is reachable by 10", so it's a solution instead of sacrifice your boot space when boot space is really needed..
iirc mr.wong himself are changing to 10" from 12"... and he's driving myvi too

yep.me too using 12" sw...but the box of the sw are too bug for me..only can face to bonet belakang..then when the boom sound play, the trunk door also play sound like vibrate from outside..ohh cannot show off lagi.. ...

Normally the vibrate sound came from car number plate, try stick the four edge firmly...
The better n proper way are soundproof the boot space biggrin.gif

You should list out a few shops, visit them, talk to d tuner, check their pricing, audit their car...
Before you decide which shop to go smile.gif

Do not buy pre-amp... it alters the sound and making it sounds fake. A waste of money. If you are buying sound processor then ok.
