So guys, I haven't been keeping up with the mechanical keyboard scene for quite a while now...

Is Razer Blackwidow still the cheapest Cherry MX Blue keyboard available in the Malaysian market?

Yes. Anything else and you'd have to get it from Taiwan or Taobao, which should cost a bit more than Rm270 which is the going price for the BW.
If you hate the glossy stuff, take a look at PCHOME taiwan global website.
They have Ducky for NT$2190 and including shipping that makes up to be about rm280~ ish

EDIT: The inevitable cleanup by Mods. I guess  someone other than cyclone or edifier has to inform this thread about the arrival of them Leopolds and FILCOs. Or 'Someone' might get Jeles

Hmm... it looks nice indeed, but if I'm not mistaken, their warranty are... serviceless parts warranty? sad.gif

I'll wait a few more months to see if there'll be any shift in the market like retailers or distributors bringing in more stuff to the actual local market ( instead of having to import from Taiwan or China ) and if nothing changes, I guess a Blackwidow for me then.

The glossy frame of the BW does indeed look ugly, but the keys themselves aren't glossy from what I saw at the store...

So there's always the option of taking off the top ugly glossy side frame of the Blackwidow... and sandpaper it to matte perfection. brows.gif

The keys are really bad actually. Too rubbery, I have a feeling it will be hard to clean when I do clean mine.

Yours is Ultimate though.

BW Ultimate's keys are considerably more rubbery for an apparently more comfortable pressing feeling while Normal BW is also rubbery, but still feels more like the usual plastic keys of RM20+ keyboards.

I can't really compare my 'press them non-stop at lowyat shops through the cut-outs of the box' experience to someone like yourself, but my first impression of trying the Ultimate keys was that it felt more comfortable... at the cost of being easier to get dirty and sticky.

Are there any Blackwidow Expert compatible ( and same font/texture ) WHITE keycaps?
