Excatly as i thought, the price wont even be ''cheap'' until more affordable price(RM4xx). Filco's SRP in Malaysia is overpriced(import from almost any other country will still be cheaper) and somemore Moderno always sell things at SRP... So in short, FILCO is overpriced in Malaysia.
Extra WASD at extra RM50? This is total madness as PCHome can give it for free...
Paying the extra RM100 for 1 year warranty? I rather test my luck with PChome.
Clycone, faster bring your Leopold and make Filco guling tikar from Malaysia!!!!
Price control by Filco Japan, we need to follow the recommended SRP they set Anyway, if u interested u still can nego with the seller

Okay, sorry that i overreacted that day...
Just feel strange that why Taiwan/China can provide it at a cheaper price, Malaysia cant... I know that they have a bigger market there but the price different also shouldn't be that huge. Beside, the competition there is even more intense with widely available Ducky, Poker and Cherry. Not sure if majestouch 2 cost more or what but another RM50 down should justify the price more...
According to Filco Sale, Taiwan/China will not get the English version Majestouch 2 in future. The diff of Majestouch 1 and Majestouch 2 are Majestouch 2 will respond faster if compare v1 because use new software. Beside that, Majestocuh 2's PCB using 2 layers soldering PCB and more reliable.

Just the red or for other switches as well?
Brown and Blue also available now.
FYI, Filco is manufacturer in Taiwan and they use first grade switch, that why their price very high and they have better quality control. A lot of mechanical keyboard brands in the market are produce in China and using downgrade switch and price definitely more attractive than Filco.

As far as i heard, SS7G/6GV2 is quite nicely built(except the very thin/semi-translucent keycaps and the fonts printing get yellowish very soon parts). Even run a truck over it and it is still functioning.
Also, as long as it isn't problem with PCB itself, switches or LED can be quite easily fixed/replaced. Go KBC check out those POKER LED mod and you will shitbrix...
Added on April 28, 2011, 1:03 pmFor the fast keycap wear out part, KBC had launched a fullset PBT keycaps replacement for SS7G already. There is brownish color fonts on lasered PBT keycaps option or simply laser engraved version.
BTW, according to KBC forum, they grouped SS as Taiwan product, not China?
P/S: I does hurd the cases where some key stuck/broken but that can be solved by RMA or just changing switch.
bro Iphone4Lover, Thanks for enlighten me. I just check the SS listing again, 7g is from Taiwan, see the wrong row, suspect my eye got Presbyopia I thought it is fr China because last time when my boss still distribute it and 1 of the batch we carry in got the keycap problem - all loose, end up return all to the principal.
