NKRO

Whats the physical difference between Majestouch and Majestouch-2 anyway?
Gift card you can sell. More people buy stuff from Amazon than you think. Those Blu-Ray peeps at Blu-Ray thread, they get a lot of their fix from Amazon, and are more than happy to let you part with your gift card.

To test one, go to computer shops I guess? Digital Mall + Lowyat is your best bet. I am not very sure about pc fair but they did have booth and the keyboards were on display anyway. Well its not no choice, there are plenty of places to get them. PCHOME and Taobao are nice places.

Alternatively, try 99hk.biz. His keyboards are not the cheapest, shipping is about RM60 via EMS the last time I asked. Maybe you can find something you like there.

No idea about the difference with 1st and 2nd, probably better PCB? Furthermore what interasia got are the 2nd edition one.

Not like people will attend to you themself at here, mixed cherry kb are usually DIY.
I'm thinking of doing a bulk order for Filco's keyboard, hmm, i think i'm not allowed to promote sales here right? =\

Create a thread in GS and put it in ur siggy.

BTW, below are somemore helpful/essential stuffs you may need on your mechanical kb road(I am not promoting it...). Somemore, the seller also not ''safe'' to deal with(for me) as i notice he selling lots of strange(rare) goods which haven sold even one. hmm.gif
AT/Din5/5pin to PS/2 adapter-almost extinct from Malaysia already and last found in LYP at RM6(haven tried if it is working sweat.gif )
PS/2 to USB adapter-there is some similar product available locally but those are like cap ayam(not sure if this isn't). So far the best option is to get a Blue Cube or may be the adapter bundled with SS7G? Here is another one that seems more cap ayam but more pricey(claimed to be from Japan...)? shocking.gif
Fake SS/Filco leather wrist rest anyone?-the price is quite cheap though
Colorful casing for Filco 104 keys-the white one seems not bad
Rapoo's Mechanical Gaming KB-just to mention that the price is quite okay(but too cheap till become fishy though...) rolleyes.gif
''Red'' Cherry G80-3000 -RED, i really mean RED!!! Not with red switch but red casing...

Last and the least, something whistling.gif
Malaysia, ayam prowd of chiu...

the fake SS wrist rest looks pretty ok but duno the quality ok or not:/

Just a quick update for you guys on my Razer Black Widow Ultimate after having used it for four months. It should be noted that the stuff I use my keyboard for would include games that I play such as Starcraft 2 and COD Black Ops, as well typing out assignments.

These are just some of the issues that have been raised while browsing through this thread every so often that I would like to address.

1. Certain keys do not reproduce that consistent "click" sound as compared to other keys.
After having used my unit daily for four months, I can safely say that this has not been an issue for me. The blue switches still feel amazing to type on.

2. Keycaps wear and tear
The keycaps on my model still look pretty good. There has not been any signs of fading or wear on any of the keys. (even the WASD keys which I use on a regular basis)

3. Fingerprints
Well I think this is a given, as the gloss plastic that goes around the keyboard does prove to be a fingerprint magnet, especially for people with sweaty hands or particularly oily skin. One thing that should also be noted is that if you have oily fingers, or you've just touched your face and then started typing on your keyboard, you'll notice that the oil residue can sometimes show on the top of the keycaps. That being said, this problem can easily be resolved by simply wiping down the keyboard every so often with a microfibre cloth and it'll be good as new.

4. Ports
The ports on the side of the keyboard have not given me any issues from day one. The one that I would use on most occasions would be the headphone jack, and it has been a huge convenience for me every since I started using it, not compromising any sound quality whatsoever.

5. Backlight
Honestly, I think there is a certain class to the keyboard with its piano-black glossy finish. And this class is accented even more when the backlit keys are turned off. Maybe it's just a personal preference. But I haven't found myself using the backlit keys as often as I would. That being said, it's always nice to have that option available if I ever need it. And after a lot of daily typing on this keyboard, I must say that this has not caused any harm to the lights underneath the keycaps. The "gamer-blue" glow that Razer is so popularly known for shines through as good as any other Razer product.

I hope this quick review/update would have been of help to some of you out there who are still holding out or deciding if the Razer Black Widow Ultimate is the right keyboard for you. That being said, it's always best to get your hands on one and actually feel what typing on this badboy is like. As for me, I have no regrets whatsoever for picking it up!

Go geekhack and track my post(human) to get a complete list of RAZER BWU issues. sweat.gif

BTW guys, my Devlin KB had arrived. brows.gif Looks and packed exactly like in this picture.

Apart from the QWERTY row shifted overly to the left, the layout is still acceptable. It will be better/best if it is shifted right a key(also to provice normal tab/caps lock layout) but it will force the ''4'' of numpad to shift too. I believe that AutoHotKey will come in handy and turn it into a poker, LOL.

More of the pictures coming tonight.

Things that shocked me:
1. The keyboard itself is dam heavy - full metal(steel/iron) casing and backplate, i cant blame it for being heavy... the website there ''scammed'' that it is 1.3kg but infact it exceed 2kg... doh.gif . the metal surface is kinda rough(unpolished with sand paper texture...) and sharp(ouch). tongue.gif
2. Strange connectors - on the kb itself there is 2 ports that is one LAN cable like and another PS/2(in) port rclxub.gif , not sure which one to use as the cable supplied come with one LAN cable head and a PS/2 tail shocking.gif
3. Cherry brown - it felt so linear compared to cherry blue on my BWU(not sure I prefer it or not as no time way connect it to my laptop and do typing on it yet)...
4. A keyboard from China UK - the board itself is made in UK instead of China, LOL
