using one.. not too sure what you mean by 'any good'...

it has a lot of features which I don't really use at all as I only use it to watch HD movies. laugh.gif

2K++ is a good price... so cheap... used unit?

Saw a Panasonic LED (don't know what model) and the picture quality is so terrible compared to the other Panasonic Plasma on display there. Either there is something wrong with that LED or all Panasonic LED are lousy anyway compared to other brand.

Both were showing the same program. Of course that still does not guarantee they are getting the same treatment. Who knows may be the LED was not using HDMI? Or may be the shop deliberately downgrade the LED to sell the Plasma instead?

Why? You a professional CSI? If you pay me, I will go check it out further. Otherwise, take it or leave it.

BTW, I only said that particular LED is lousy. You should learn to read between the line LOL.

read back your own post. You're insinuating that ALL PANASONIC LED are lousy. I read between the line that's why I think
you're trashing Panasonic LED TV yo.

eh.. what program were they showing?

If showing SD quality then Plasma will definitely look better.. watching normal SD quality or even TV program on the LED is horrendous, this I can attest to... laugh.gif but watching HD quality on it, it definitely is sharp and crisp.

As to whether Panasonic LED (btw, I think they only have one LED in the market.. or at least one when I bought it) being lousy, I'd say it's individual preference... I really don't see much difference between my Panasonic LED and other brands except for some like Sharp which has extra 'Yellow' and much higher end ones with better refresh rates.

Either this or that. In layman language, it means I don't know what was the problem. Anything else you don't understand?

They were both showing some demo program in HD.

Even though I personally don't like LED, my merely passing-by impression was, Samsung & Sony seem to be better than Panasonic when it comes to LED. And the one unit of Sharp LED that I have seen was just as bad as that Panasonic LED I saw.
