Am happy with spearing. He looked solid. But we still need a midfield general capable of controlling the game.

I thought Carroll did well considering the circumstances. Knocked several ball to Suarez as well.
I thought he was sharp enough to win the header which was cleared.

But for that price, the pool fans will be hoping for more. Hopefully he will adapt and perform better. Watching the 2 blues games now. Torres looked sharper.

i did post a single sentence on Torres early this morning. I stayed up a bit later to catch the 2 Blues teams playing.
Reason? just to watch Torres. He is still a very exciting player to watch.
I thought he looked sharper. My dark side is happy he didnt score but the humane side of me do miss him, scoring those goals for us.


anyway, too bad Carroll's goal bound header was cleared...that would have removed loads of pressure of the lad...
several of his knockdowns were impressive....
but didnt really perform well with the ball on the ground...maybe he is still finding his feet or we are so used to the sight of a certain number 9 speeding down the channels with the ball...

hope this is not true...was hoping that he will give KD one chance after the setbacks with ROy and Rafa...
Him and Suarez will be exciting i think....we need more ball playing players..

horrible decision but the quality for the rest of the 89 minutes were not there...

We need new reliable players that can perform immediately. I know this statement is often used carelessly in football but we still lack quality....Money dont guarantee success but it can bring us quality like Suarez..

well, the bad thing is that just about kills any glimmer of hope we have left for Europa...

the good thing is KD can now play different pairings to build for future.....the Gerrard-era is really coming to an end....at least as our midfield general...

aku miss the game..will try to catch up..

however, i hope this display will cement positive attributes into AC. To remain humble and work hard for the team. hope he doesnt celebrate in a bar or 2 tonight! (Duke can, not him..hahaha)

as much as i hate to say this, the discipline and dedication of C. Ronaldo and Giggs (despite having the natural talent) to improve themselves and give the highest level of display are qualities AC should learn to acquire...
