ahhhhhhhhh...what a nice feeling to hear the suarez song replacing the betrayer who will walk alone
like what alan parry said...apart from suarez goal, its a game of not so high quality...both teams guilty giving ball away cheaply...even suarez looks ordinary b4 his goal...and what can i say bout carroll..unlucky not to score tonite..good move by dalglish to replaced him...he looks knackered after 60min...spearing looks a gud player...apart from 1 misplaced pass,i dont see him look out of sorts with lucas in the middle of the park..great shot in 2nd half only to denied by a great save from sun keeper..overall happy days!! |

QUOTE(PPZ @ Mar 20 2011, 11:39 PM) somehow i think suarez is our little cheeky ******* who did it again. i think he purposely went in front of mensah and let him foul him so that he can get red carded. simply good goal from suarez and the previous number 9 cannot do it. carroll was good in 1st half..linking up with others...but apart from his header which was saved by the line,he looks tired & made 3-4 misplaced pass..understandable after he played a full 90minutes in mid week...needs 2-3 more games to be 100% match fitAdded on March 20, 2011, 11:40 pm i think carroll play good and bad at the same time. he win mostly the aerial ball but he did pass cheap balls to the opponent but i simply cannot forget that he nearly score the goal with his head. really unlucky. |

3-5-2 seems KK favourite formation in an away game these days...against west ham we also used 3-5-2...carra,skrtel & agger dont have much work to do containing sunderland attack

QUOTE(RedSiglap56 @ Mar 21 2011, 09:51 AM) Liverpool's midfield looked a little lost in the opening 15 minutes. Sunderland passed well but they were not incisive throughout the match and hardly tested Reina. They were also very hard done to have lost two players to injuries so early on. carroll should have scored 2 goals by now..one against braga where his goal bound header was blocked by kuyt..another one last nite which was blocked by cattermole...still not 100% match sharpness yet....give him 2-3 games more and we shall see..one thing for sure,he won a lot of headers!..and quite good in holding up the ball too..qualities that we missed when Torres was our main striker We had more chances to score through both Carroll and Suarez. In fact I'm optimistic that Carroll will start scoring sooner rather than later. Overall, I think we were very fortunate that things went our way, and of course we have a gifted but temperamental South American on our side! The chase for 5th is definitely on and 4th .. well, the ball is round.. |

no suarez no magic then??
Added on March 21, 2011, 12:49 pm QUOTE(Duke Red @ Mar 21 2011, 11:59 AM) Like Redshaun, I'm getting tired of reading anti-Torres posts. Ironic since we call Everton, "The Bitters" eh? Who's bitter now? We should spend more time wishing ourselves well than others ill. It's all so hypocritical in my opinion. to proved that we were a bitter lot..Torres got booed off when subbed last nite Not the best of performances last night but in the end it's 3 points in the bag and given that this is only Sunderland's 4th home loss the whole season, it is some achievement. If Dalglish's track record is anything to go by, we would be 2nd in the table had he been in charge from the beginning of the season. His record since taking over is on par with Arsenal's. Despite some of the negativity I've seen being thrown around in there especially after the losses to West Ham and Braga, there is a lot to be optimistic about. Were we lucky last night? Lucky to get the penalty? Hell yeah. Kevin Frend got it right and his assistant got it wrong, it was clear as day. Were we lucky to win? Not if you ask me. Sunderland did have a lot of possession but does anyone remember Reina making a save? We created the best chances of the match despite Sunderland having more of the ball. Carroll won everything in the air but his touch on the ground was a little heavy. Possibly a symptom from being out injured for so long. Super bit of work from Suarez. He saw that Mignolet had shifted his body weight to the right anticipation the ball to be played across goal, and instinctively poked the ball in the near post. england right back certain starter...but played left back at liv..consider he's playing out of position, selling him is not a wise decision when we short on quality fullback

QUOTE(Yluxion @ Mar 30 2011, 10:39 AM) Nice and powerful shot indeed. Kuyt second goal also a stunner, a great lob just outside the box. frankly kuyt trying to pass but over hit it..he's laughing after that Let's hope they keep the guns firing when we face RH's West Brom on Saturday. anyway still a quality goal though |

QUOTE(El-Nino @ Apr 1 2011, 05:46 PM) the best way is sell johnson and sign a better right back! we have Comolli as a scouting expert. Bring the next Bale for us.... haha..its ironic u put Bale on ur list...before he became great player,he struggled as a leftback!..his defensive play was crap..only when redknapp move him into left wing position he start to blossom..so for that,i wont sell Johnson..keep him and put him on the wing when we up against big teams with Kelly as a rightback |
