About our lb problem?is coentrao good? it was on somewhere that he's a liverpool fan.

Caroll looks disinterested for sure.Not sure if its due to europa league tiredness or homesickness of newcastle.

Our defence was very solid thanks to the returning dagger.Still not impressed with skrtel pulling down opponents.

meireles seems to be on a poor run.our midfield just isnt the same without gerrard.

Joe cole is starting to look like his old self.Should've came on earlier instead.

If u compare to maxi,meireles and carroll they rarely chased sunderland players.Joe cole looked bright- constantly looking to make a pass and receiving it back.

Add wes brown to the list.

I agree very much with u.Time and time again.It used to be michael owen,then gerrard,then torres and now suarez.

And once suarez gets fed up and leaves,our fans will start slating him and calling him betrayer.

I dont think players like lucas,maxi,spearing or kuyt will help us win the league anytime soon.

Never sorted the right wing problems and started the whole thing of playing players out of position.Thank goodness this poor excuse for a manager is jobless.

Looks like u dont know how the team functioned back then.The engine was alonso.Alonso ball distribution and long range passes covered up for most of our weaknesses.Kuyt was never a winger and will never be one.The moment alonso left the whole team crumbled.Look at man utd,they lost ronaldo(the best player in the world at that time) and tevez(top 3 best strikers in epl).But they still functioned and managed to push chavs to the end.

Lucas is no alonso and team has to play different players.gerrard should be in alonso's position and meireles should take up the attacking role.lucas is squad player at best.Lucas only turns up for the big games and is ineffective against smaller defensive teams.

The left back position was present for a long time.its just that our priority were strikers and wingers.

I hope u take note that real madrid lost without alonso at home.he is more vital to the team than ronaldo.

Anyway we should buy coentrao instead of enrique.coentrao made the highly rated sanchez in this game ineffective.

I am not saying enrique is not lfc material.But it is an added bonus when players state specifically they want to come to our club.Passion is something that u cannot buy.Players like coentrao will have the passion.do u think any midfielder currently will be able to replace gerrard? eventhough he got better offers,he chose to stay at anfield.

having said that,i will still be pleased to see us buy enrique coz more money will available for a top class winger like hazard or sanchez.if we get coentrao,most prolly we'll buy young or jarvis for left wing.So its a win-win situation(thats what i m hopeful of though) there is only chance for one of hazard,sanchez and coentrao coz we need squad depth and other position.if we get two from them,i will be over the top.

Coentrao is more accustomed to wing back or left back.He didnt do well when he was playing left wing earlier.Only after converting to a defender,his performances improved.(at least thats what i read) exact opposite of bale if u ask me.

Nope,too old for the owners liking.he's well past his best.

Duke,even aurelio is a way better player than warnock.Just that he is always injured.

I dont agree with insua coming back.He is the poor man of glen johnson.
