best guide ever. if you can commit as written, you are good to go.


another thing is, try to explore the game more, play random for like.....2 months b4 race picking. dont choose terran because its easy to use in low level or choose protoss because you have alot of variety in cheesing or choose zerg because 6 pool > everything.

because if you are serious, you are going to play in relatively high level (plat/diam or even master) after few months of training. by then, the racial identity is no longer like this. zerg will be very macro and countering unit kind of play, protoss will be focusing in a death ball of army, you need good micro to make full use of your army, terran will be very multi pronged harrass and counter attack based race....choose wisely which kind of playstyle you like the most if not..........when you are very good in terran in the future then you realized you like zerg's playstyle more but its just too hard to switch race by then.

Instead of waiting to get spoonfeeded ala wasting time, why don't you head over http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/Main_Page and have a good read on the basic stuffs you need to know first? It helps you in learning from the pros and save up alot of times.

play more on custom melee 1st, keke.
and watch back replays which u lost to figure out the problems.
read strats from TL strategy forum and watch some replays too.
i was learning this way last time =)

soap (a player in nerdlings) lead me to try all the races and i like how zerg is so massive but do not like the amount of macro(or w/e you call it) to get the bases done so fast. i still like terran

and then i found a mentor. which soap told me that he is real good with terran. and im reading up liquipedia
where do i watch good replays?

starting to like this game more and more. might buy the whole set (im using prepaid now)
