Front facing camera
Lighter & slightly smaller makes it a little more pocketable
Slightly smaller screen and much bigger battery offer big improvement in battery life
key button rotate according to screen rotation.. biggrin.gif

Front facing camera, Much better build quality, big battery life improvement, front facing camera, and the AP prices are lower than DHD. Around 1.8k last time i checked. BTW you interested in switching to Android?

one of the biggest problems wt desire hd is the battery life.
based on my personal usage patterns, from full charge in the morning will go down to zero just before lunch time.

even though got portable battery but it's such a hassle.

incredible is better. lasts until night time for me.

Are you on the Stock ROM for DHD? As some of our members who flashed custom ROM managed to last for 24 hours (Heavy usage) / 36++ hours (moderate usage) or even up to 2 days++ (light usage)...

Some with stock ROM also have improved battery life after FOTA..

*EDIT: forgot to add "custom rom" in the post.. doh.gif

Haha, it's all up to the user itself.
However, I do agree DHD battery sucks, but still the new update have solved it. Some of our users who are on stock ROM, have much better life after update (official from HTC).

Another part of us who choose the custom ROM path, also increases the battery greatly compared to stock ROM. Currently, DHD is matured in development, lots of ROMs, guides are available.

But sooner or later (Few weeks maybe), Incredible S will have its own development team as well.

That's why, in the end it's up to the users themselves, which they prefer. Small screen (S-LCD) but with front facing camera, higher mAh battery; or a large screen display (LCD) without front camera, lower mAh battery.

icon_rolleyes.gif

As for me, I personally prefer DHD for myself, but I prefer/recommends IS for my gf due to it's size, more suit her than DHD (too large)

Just my 2cents smile.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

You can ask here @ DHD Official Thread.. some users like Ghostblind, using stock ROM and recently did an official software update, and battery life is greatly improved. Can ask them in the thread, I don't know much about stock as I've switched to custom ROM few days after using it laugh.gif

DHD users here with Revolution HD 3.2 custom ROM and radio flashed.

On GSM mode all the time, making around minimum 2 hours a day due to my work. Bluetooth on all the time, paired with headset.

9am (usually start with 90% battery), usually left around 40% at 6pm.
Not too bad if you ask me.

Been using Xperia x1 before this on similiar usage, not much different in term of battery usage. wink.gif

IS can be better but DHD may not loose far, certainly not just half day as somebody mentioned.
Unless gaming non-stop, there won't even last 4 hours on DHD if u ask me.

I'm on DHD. and i wouldnt say much about stock rom since i flashed it the day i bought it.

but it has been making better efforts than my previous SGS.
my best time is 40hrs on one full charge on moderate usage (wifi on, music for 1-2hrs with bluetooth, 1-2 hrs of reading and 1hr of websurfing)

some of us here at the DHD thread can even surpass that mark.

so personally i would still stick back to DHD.

If I know I would have for Incredible S - :S - really need that front facing camera cos just got my DHD 2-3 months ago. And it's cheaper.

Still though that extra 0.3'' screen does make a difference to some people.

DHD battery isn't too bad after you flash with custom ROM - can last more than 1 day.

LOL!! Seriously you don understand the difference between making a statement and asking a question. Im stating that every smartphone has to be charged everyday no matter what the usage is. Even on light usage, the battery left won't stand a full 2nd day. Even my old blackberry cant stand 2 days without charging.
