MC's baller trolling interview after his TSL first win

Q: We saw that you scouted close positions on Metalopolis, even though the maps have been fixed so you cannot start on those spots. Let's be honest here, how much did you practice for this match?

Ah, well I was focused on my GSL games so I decided to play through today's games using my fundamentals. I'm feel sorry about that, and once the GSL finals are over I'll prepare more for TSL and try to show people some good games.

Q: You mentioned in your previous interview that Ciara wasn't such a great player. What do you think of him now?

There was indeed, not much to him. And from his bad manners in not typing GG after the first game, I don't feel so kindly towards him.

Q: You will face the winner of Loner and White-Ra in the next round. What do you think of these players?

I don't think Loner is that good, while I've heard White-Ra is a successful Protoss player abroad. However, I'm the best Protoss player in the world, and they will probably have to complain to the TSL administrators about having faced me in the RO16.

Q: After dealing a lot of early damage to your opponent in game two, you allowed him to recover a little and mass a sizable army. Did you feel threatened at any point?

No, I felt comfortable all game, and because I was watching him with observers I didn't feel like I was in danger at all.

Q: Last question. You might be tired of this one by now, but what are your thoughts going into the GSL Final (this question will be outdated by the the date of publication)?

Well, there are two goals. Being the first two time winner of the GSL, and keeping my dignity as the best Protoss player in the world. I've started using Twitter nowadays, so thanks to my foreign fans for mentioning me lot. I've been studying English conversation these days, so I hope to take interviews with improved English in the future.

The only way to stop that is at least 2 Siege Tanks in Siege mode IMO.

ya....and to have 2 siege tank at siege mode.....you gotta throw down the factory right after orbital is up. which is the fast tank build of terran. which i almost nvr do that......ya, of course you can do a siege expand build but it doesnt work on all maps =( siege tanks are too expensive in early game...if im doing the siege build might as well just go attack to do some economic damage b4 getting too far behind =O

Not a huge upset IMO, MorroW is considered as 1 of the top Zerg outside Korea.

morrow is cacat. he won IEM by using reaper rush....den reper got nerfed he change to zerg lol

just watch the VoDs of TSL... Feel sad for Jinro to lose out a game to baneling bust. Even 3 barracks + bunker is unable to stop this attack. hope rusher like morrow quickly lose to a real solid player

actually i think morrow is abusing the timing of high eco Baneling bust -.- just like when he won IEM with reaper rush, now he is going to kill all terran with baneling bust (current OP zvt strat unless t go siege mode) -.- see, jinro went for 2 layers of 3x3 walls yet can lose to such timing attack.

As much as I love this tournament, kinda let down by the delay between the players, though Jinro already pointed it out that this can be overcome by practising more with it, but still I think its kinda bad for this tournament.

ThorZaIN steamrolled Tyler and disappointing games from White-Ra, ThorZain and MC through to Ro8.

qxc lost to Adelscott 2-3 and Kas as impressive as always rolled NaDa , Adelscott and Kas through ro Ro8.

Playing against a macro zerg is so exhausting, every tank need to move cautiously(cannot too fast, siege up all the possible time), every marine need 2 spread during the move and every turret at the base need to be defend against muta. Miss one of those 3 and bye bye, you lose the game. And fxxking amazing BoxeR did it in 5 games, I will be die of fatigue if I'm in his position.

Terran is not OP. Is very tactical. Tank Positioning, aggressiveness bunker build, building placement & drops. BoxeR have absolutely perfect it. A Real Terran master

Thor Zain is so freaking good and to be honest i think i saw a well-balanced game of PvT

Game 5 i think the Raven totally saved him by seeing all those hallucination units.

Even though Thorzain is really good, but he is not very good in TvT where position and etc is important compare to Kas.

Wow really shown that non-koreans really standing tall against Koreans already.

I am so impress with the game of ThorZain vs MC. Sooooo freaking nice that i just watch without blinking my eyes or even bother to do anything.

i think TvP might favor T abit now after the K. amulate nerf.

thorzain is at most code A or lower quartile of code S...i dont see him on par with MVP MKP...

In terms of TvT play he is surely weaker. But in other play he is very much stronger.

What i want to see now is ThorZain vs Sheth. Both of them my favourite players as a terran and zerg respectively right now.

MC of course still my favourite protoss

thorzain is good but no way freaking good...
if u notice he barely drop, if he does those drops are bad...
not much harassment even, his banshee was idling a lot...
i do love his first tank in the 5th game to get mc to make phoenix as marine/tank build are so common in crossfire...
but he was on 1 base quite some time getting: tank, raven, banshee and thor b4 his expansion...

what he did was focus on his macro and hit timings (which cost mc the first 2 games)...
and when we see on big maps like in tal darim he cant do much once he doesnt have the timing...
and his ghost control was quite bad besides the 1-2 moments where he cloak and emp when mc doesnt have obs as he got them feedback so often...
when mc got his obs speed to see the ghost, its GG...
game4 i felt MC did everything in the book lol...

his early game is extremely vulnerable and when we see MC did early agression, he cant hold it...
if mc does his 6 gate agression he coulda win it...
why he didnt might be due to the lag...

Ya he is not so good in terms of drops, harassment and micro isn't perfect either but he is strong with his style of super early upgrades or some surprising tactics.

Rarely terrans ever go for such early upgrades and it played such an important role in the game due to MC getting so late on upgrades.

His ghost control is so-so but the obs with speed is really over speedy

He did a few time in game 4 crushing a big immortal army with emp ghost on them.

MC countered perfectly with HT by feedbacking medivacs and ghosts.

Love the game 4 a lot.

I learned the most from game 2 though with the MC void ray play.

thorzain still have a long way to go la...but prolly deserves a rich team like FXO trollol...

Its true he has a long way to go but after beating FruitDealer, Tyler and MC, those famous league player still have a long way to go too. They need to fix their 'fixed style'. Especially Boxer with his 'typical drop' in almost most of his game.

Not being offense just pointing out.

Nevertheless, I believe ThorZaIN is going to be facing his worst nightmare against Kas soon. Kas is a better terran player honestly.

Personally I have been very impressed by Thorzain and think he's got a bright future.
