I always pump at Shell on weekends with Bonuslink. Theoretically, I will get 8.5% back. 5% Amex + 2.5% TP + 1% Bonuslink.

u cant get rm1 to 1 point for bonus link, its based on per liter, so u spend more rm to get points so cant say its 1% frm bonuslink for rebates
*
Yeah, sorry. I calculated that wrongly. I forgot is 1pt per liter instead of RM1. So that comes to slightly above 0.5% which make it around 8% discount.

They do not allow. 3 times max per day.

What is the time difference between those 3 cars?

I found something interesting. The hold amount for petrol purchase via cc at the pump varies according to bank. Not pre set by the station I initially thought so.

I tested my SC card whether it is activated or not and then went on to pump with my Amex.

Correct. I am only saying some petrol stations dont allow you to pump first. They expect you to pay in cash before they allow you to pump.

If I pump BHP, I will pass my card to them and tell them full tank. Then after pumping, go in and sign for the exact amount I pump.

The reason I do this is because the pump CC terminal doesn't accept AMEX.

not all petrol station staff can be trusted to hold your cc without your monitoring. hmm.gif

I guess it's the same risk involved as handing over your card to swipe at a restaurant.

All those I pump is already in the list except for one. Section 19 PJ also accepts AMEX.
