QUOTE(drfeelgood @ Aug 18 2014, 11:54 PM) Ok. Which means ask them to allow to pump, then swipe later. Only some stations dont allow this. They scared, after you pump, you run away... haiz means go swipe at the counter instead of at the pump. when you swipe at the counter, the amount you pump will be based on the exact amount you swiped. so there will be no rm200 on hold.

Correct. I am only saying some petrol stations dont allow you to pump first. They expect you to pay in cash before they allow you to pump.

If I pump BHP, I will pass my card to them and tell them full tank. Then after pumping, go in and sign for the exact amount I pump. The reason I do this is because the pump CC terminal doesn't accept AMEX.

I didn't even know until the statement came.. it was so little.. because uob set allocation of rm900k cb for petrol on a first-come-first-serve basis. usually until mid of the month the allocation will be finished. any usage afterwards (approximately after 13th) will have 0% cb.

Yup. A lot of people didn't read the updated T&C that says this. Which is why I went with Citibank's Cash Back Platinum instead. It's also not ideal, as the CB is only credited to your account once its RM50 or above. Below that, it will be rolled forward. I don't like to guess whether I am going to get the cash back or not. I prefer something where I'll definitely get it.

Looks like MBB2Amex is the best overall CB cards during weekend.. I might want to take up OCBC unlimited cashback during weekday.. Have to treat customer to some meal place sometimes
