Just notice few esso and mobil station in Seremban Highway are closed for rebranding to Petron, i believe. I wonder if Petron in future will accept Amex or not.

Are you talking bout the Esso station just before the Seremban rest house heading to KL? If that's the exact one you're talking about then I can tell you that it's not closed for rebranding.. it's actually not open for service just yet.. I'm a frequent traveller to sban fyi..

Nope, it's the station beside ex-Mint hotel and another one near the furniture shop too, layby road entrance to besraya highway.

What to redeem? I was hoping to accumulate 3000 points for RM 45 petrol.

I don't know either too as i just redeem 3000 points last week.
i think Petron will announce their own reward card after their rebranding exercise is completed. Perhaps, they will follow like aeon card rebranding too with cutoff date to redeem all smile points.

so the rebranding is for esso only or Mobil also? So far i notice most esso only close for renovation... Mobil still okay... So Smiles can use in Mobil only after this?

just today, ex-mint hotel' esso just reopen to petron branded station.

so far, i haven't heard the smile point have stopped as i just pump it today and can collect smiles point. Anyway, if petron did issue their own reward card, i believe they will announce it for existing smile card holder.

as now, they are doing rebranding execise to all existing esso and mobil station too.

hopefully smiles points can be retained to transferred to new card (if Petron decide to introduce a new member card)

im using UOB One card to pump petrol at BHP, Citi for others

why UOB for BHP?
its because they give 5% CB for petrol. and additional 2.5% (need to check again) on $mart Cash. so total around 7%. So far i know only BHP is entitled for this $mart Cash

if your UOB CC is The One card, then you will get 2% $mart cash, not 2.5%.

When KL for the weekend. Petron gives 1.5x points + MMB2 awesome combo!

Is the Free Tissue apply to all the station? I went to Sg.Besi 1, only notice the banner get 1.5X points. Nothing about free tissue...

perhaps while stock last?
