anyone using esso public bank card ??

CIMB direct access no more rebate for petrol... sienzzz

u cant get rm1 to 1 point for bonus link, its based on per liter, so u spend more rm to get points so cant say its 1% frm bonuslink for rebates

if smiles 1000point = $15. to get 1k point need spend $1k..

mesra 1000 point = $10. need spend 1000liter x $1.90 = $1.9k..

Different point system:

For Esso, it's RM 1 for 1 point.

While for Mesra & Bonuslink, it's 1 litre @ RM 1.90 for RON 95 for 1 point.

Definitely there's a huge difference!

Now to get 1000 points less than RM15 but 3000points still can redeem RM45.

question..how do we set the amount that we want to fill in at the pump? all this while i juz fill in manually..theres no instruction to set the amount before pumping..

u guys are really counting the points n whatsoever......so much time n effort in hand as for me, just prefer cash + bonus link or mesra..tried to apply BHP card once but never received the card

makes me wonder, any cards + with shell/petronas/airAsia/giant all in one special last time i redeem my cards. got only a crappy radio alarm..u guys should look at the redeem prices, always ridiculous + if u wanna a nice thing u need to spend like 150k/points

insert your card, once gotten approval and done pulling out your card, press the amount that you desired on the other number panel (not the credit card one, normally on the right side).

Start pumping and it'll stop at that amount

Yeah, sorry. I calculated that wrongly. I forgot is 1pt per liter instead of RM1. So that comes to slightly above 0.5% which make it around 8% discount.

for cash rebate maybe UOB one card is the choice.. 5% rebate for all petrol stations (max 600 per month), and giant 2% i think.. it just launched on 1 July

Esso/Mobil has updated 1 month ago 950points = RM10.00 petrol

Unlike the 3000 pts = RM45 fuel. It's just too difficult for me to accumulate 3000 pts.

use to be RM15 for 1000 points

it would took me almost upto 9 month to 1 year to earn for the mere RM 45 fuel rebate
