Better use Poslaju. Poslaju is faster and safer.

pos daftar is cheaper but take longer to arrive.

So Poslaju is more recommended.

Pack with bubble wrap and box wrap with a brown or white paper. To be safer, u can stick a Fragile sticker on it.

If u don't want your pen drive to spoil before the receiver receive then u should wrap with bubble wrap and put in a box. Postman they won't carry things soft soft for u... They practice basketball in the office laugh.gif

if use Pos laju then should be Rm5.75

If Pos daftar then lesser

The price is depend on weight as long as the box is not more than 30cm. If the box is more than 30cm then they will charge by Volumetric.

For the pen drive.. weight is very light.. so the price is sure Rm5.75. Even got box , box also won't be that heavy.. should be still same price

They will charge Volumetric when the box is larger than 30cm and the weight is lesser than the volumetric.

To find out about Volumetric rates is easy. Just measure the box then use this equations

Length x Width x Height / 6000 = Volumetric (Estimated Weight)

Once u got the Volumetric (Estimated Weight) , u can check the rates at their website: http://www.pos.com.my/pos/appl/fast_mail_rate.asp

However, if the actual weight is heavier than the Volumetric (Estimated weight) , they will charge u by the actual weight. They choose which ever higher

Yes, Poslaju require Signature by Receiver. They will ask for Signature and IC number of the 1 that sign.

If nobody home, the posman will leave a card/letter for the receiver to go to collect at the pos office or receiver can call for re-attempt on the next day.
