Where do you have this problem? At home, at malls, at work? If at home, what kind of router do you have it connected to? And can you reproduce this problem all the time?

It seems that you router doesn't send you an IP address, few things you may want to try out:

1. Change channel on your wifi router
2. Do a network reset on your ipad

Happens to me too. Ipad/Iphone/Netbook have to reset connections after reverting from standby. Funny thing is that this only started recently, but I have been using the router for > a year already.

I think its is the settings on the router. I'm also using tmnet router/modem. but Still have not found a solution yet. Wiraone, what do you mean by channel on wifi router? How to do that?

To change the router channel, go to the wireless configuration, it should be there. Most router has either defaulted to auto or channel 6. Change it to probably higher number.

I have used my ipad with my home and apartment wifi. It connects to both quite well. I use my SIM card connection when outside and the device seems to connect OK. Maybe I am lucky as my set seems to perform flawlessly so far .. touch wood. My device is the 64 GB with SIM card format.

No issues here with my iPad since I am also using TMNut's router. But I did change the channel to 11 in order to gain better signal for some areas of my apartment.
