You don't need a macro lens for your miniatures unless you want to shoot and blow up very tiny small details. The 18-55 lens is sufficient actually because you can get very close to your subject.
Considering the external damage that you have on your D70s, it seems to be a little weird that the SC is so low.
*
i asking that because my friend yesterday play play D70s when he attaching his 1.8 on my body...then he said..hmm this sounds like your D70s wan die already?... then i was "what?" if i not mistaken max SC for D70s is 60k-80k right?

You need wide angle or ultra wide angle  tongue.gif
If you're talking about phone or digital cam, its usually wide angle already.

35mm is wide angle but for FX, on DX it become normal lens X 1.5X = 52.5mm
*
maybe need google some sample photo...actually wan to ask the 35mm 1.8f is how much or should get other more suitable lens? (of 35mm f1.4 unsure.gif if like that estimate how much so i can plan my saving schedule in piggy bank laugh.gif )
well tried 50mm f1.8 feel still tele for my style... i shooting rarely zoom one even i use kit lens, last time SG trip in low light really "beh tahan" with f3.5... need bigger aperture laugh.gif

now using on DX of course...maybe future will change body i think? unsure.gif

where were u at? I think I spotted Azrin.

QUOTE(noobie1 @ Mar 31 2011, 11:27 PM)
haha..but if without flash, the only way is either change body or get big aperture lens..

why wanna get 35 1.8? might as well go for 35 f2d..just my opinion..
*
haha finally got someone oppose this laugh.gif
which means got better choice for 35 1.8? well i check price of 35 f2d and review first haha... not sure 35mm still tight for DX or not hmm.gif
(i thought aperture bigger then easier to make nicer bokeh to separate front subject and bg hmm.gif )
technical term like focus speed, colour frindging , etc i dunno la, still wan see feed back haha...
budget wise not really have limit..if over limit then save longer lor lol...see the quality and price la

like sifu Hinika said... i use shoot person infront of table only...as well as food...maybe gunpla laugh.gif
