Hi guys,

Recently just got myself a D7000. Originally wanted to get the 18-200 + 35/50 f1.8. Wanted the 18-200 for versatility and primes for low light and portraits.

However, due to some circumstances I have not purchased any lens yet and am just using 18-55 loaned by a friend. Now, i am thinking of going with Tokina 11-16 + Nikkor 24-70 + 70-200. Upside for me, all are f2.8. Downside, they are predominantly FX lenses and I would not be able to get them all in one shot budget wise haha.

What are your kind thoughts? Thanks in advance

I think D5100 will be better in term of feature. Not IQ and ISO performance. Basically they are same.

D5100 most probably come with the features , that d3100 dont have

-Flip LCD
-Grid inside Viewfinder
-Auto Bracketing
-Maybe faster FPS

sad now.. alot of my model shots from 10th anni cannot use =( not sharp and hand shake... haizzz

No Viewfinder grid only but liveview got  , not big deal .

Won't affect ur IQ and skills .

To solve this

Get d3, f1.4 fast lens . Then okay if u want available light.

Another option , get flash gun

Even the paideemaktu doesn't have build in grid if not mistaken. Have to put de lol.

huhu.. sure nice bro.. juz take it,hehe.. act i want to take wedding event(indoor) cz a lot of my fren going married nowadays,huhu.. but, outdoor event also is a must,huhu.. pening2..   

there is the software called Photoshop then we just blur it kau kau haha
sharp shot can fake the blur
but blur shot cannot sharpen back 

If you're going to shoot indoor, flash makes wonders

I shoot events/functions indoor, before and after I get a sb600. The picture that came out is so so nice with flash . But I'm using D90 where I don't use higher than ISO 1000 cause it's quite noisy for me. Plus, at weddings, things happen for a second, so with flash you can have faster shutter speed.

That's only my opinion though.

start get poison with flash
borrow my friend's SB700 play first then decide wan to get or not..(in future)

but i prefer big big aperture    lighter body also
