even whn it's b&w, it doesn't feel powerful enough. Subject matter too small and still lots of empty areas which mean much. Perhaps try to crop more and see how it goes. Make the composition tighter. Again, the compo depends on what you want to tell. Mcdonald's and carpark sign with an oldman? What does it mean?

QUOTE(shantio3388 @ Mar 30 2011, 02:35 PM) If got VR , shutter 1/25-1/30 still wont caused blur isn't ?? Wrong! Who says that? VR doesn't solve motion blur, even if it solves the stabilization of shaky hands.

QUOTE(shantio3388 @ Mar 30 2011, 02:41 PM) Agree agree Added on March 30, 2011, 2:42 pmforgot to mention is for still subject No problem. Reason is because we don't want to mislead newbies that VR is the solution for slow shutter speed and not do something about it.. Skali in wedding dinner they will think... never mind! I got VR, I can use 1/20-1/30s without flash on my kitlens, natural lighting mar? GG... This post has been edited by geekster129: Mar 30 2011, 02:46 PM

QUOTE(shantio3388 @ Mar 30 2011, 02:49 PM) more blur more natural ... You can tell people your wedding march pic look blurry and ghostly because it's an abstract art. More Godlike than pro photographers with expensive gears. This post has been edited by geekster129: Mar 30 2011, 02:53 PM

QUOTE(KTCY @ Mar 30 2011, 03:51 PM) VR kicks in, push ISO, flash. Lots of thing can be done to increase shutter speed. Easiest way, big aperture lens Money solves everything Money can absolutely buy happiness. (troll face) This post has been edited by geekster129: Mar 30 2011, 04:05 PM

QUOTE(SSY22 @ Mar 31 2011, 10:49 PM) Mind to share some important points that he mentioned? Thanks He talked about his journey started from his Nikon Coolpix all the way to D3s. Impressive that he got an artistic eye and he shoots Aperture priority and doesn't use much strobe till today. Added on March 31, 2011, 11:25 pmQUOTE(stsh90 @ Mar 31 2011, 11:23 PM) Basically he shared about his journey in photography thus far. He started off with PnS, a Coolpix 3500 IIRC. then moved on to SLR after he used his bro's D100. Then he shared some tips. First, find the subject's character. Second, find the light. Third, learn to spot interesting things. Also on Photoshop, learn the basics before attending workshops on it. He did mention he learned Photoshop over the years, don't remember him mentioning about attending Photoshop workshop himself. IMO, it was interesting to learn how he actually ventured from an amateur with PnS to a professional now. Simply inspiring. And he also revealed that he doesn't really know about strobes and he seldom uses them. I think those guys at the front row holding a 70200 damn butthurt man. He's a complete opposite to Joe McNally. Joe McNally strobe strobe strobe all the way. Manny Librodo uses natural light to its fullest potential. QUOTE(Bliz @ Apr 1 2011, 09:44 AM) The recoil of shutter makes them beh tahan , now like usual only but if compared to the pariah sound of 5dmarkII it still can impress ( 1DmkIV ) is still the best sounding One photojournalist shooting 3fps on 1dmk4 + 24-70L in an LRT last time, with the recoil sound 3 times is good enough to give me the "feel". Gear easily cost 1/3 of a Myvi. This post has been edited by geekster129: Apr 1 2011, 10:24 AM
