That day bought a 2nd hand 17-55, after went home den notice y the image so soft compared to the 1 I test in BTS, den open the aperture blade look under the light, noticed there's somethin like moisture in the middle of the elements. After drop by PKNS den they said it's fungus..... swt!! Luckily the seller gave me 1 month personal warranty den I returned to him.....

Now searching for seller, haaaiz....

Wanna ask you guys, give same price, will u get a 1 year+ 17-55mm or a 1 month old 16-35 F4 VR? If not bcoz of value, I prefer the 17-55 personally, any advise?

The fungus is really mild, like water vapour only, not like got fur fur that serious....


My LED torchlight at home dead, den go there see the lens damn spanking new.... front element totally no dust, den open aperture didn't check under strong light, dim yellow light only..... went back tried focus many times oso felt like back focus, than only notice got vapour look of fungus

Luckily can refund to the seller, if not.....GG!!!!! That Nikon guy said, the fungus is sandwiched within the few elements, need to change whole group, at least oso 1k+, hahaaa.... better get a new lens, pheww....

U mean on the aperture blade? or I can't see properly.... mine was in the middle element, like minor fog at the corner of the glass..... it's like blurred glass, I didn't know it's fungus until the service guy told me

AF-S type specs more expensive.....

Sien lor.... hate to hear that, my usage can't cover the losses....

Nahh.... not true!! If you have same brand, like SBxxx, not only can use triggers, CLS oso can.... previously I'm using Nissin with Phottix Aster trigger

Somehow after uploading to flikr, the color went off, dunno y, somethin to do with thie adobe RGB thingy, haaiz....

I really like the focal length of 50mm for portraits much more than 35mm, but sometimes can't predict, when walk up front the model change post and she looks at you, U gotta take the shot, if u walk back 1 step, gone..... lol

I got the same combo too, lol.... juz mine is the old fat WD MyBook with razor too.... haha

Waaah.... ppl here really berkerja sama!! within 1 min, 2 full page of food....

Anybody knows the price to replace a zoom ring rubber like the thin Nikkor 17-55mm DX?

Lol.... u got follow up my purchase eh, haha.... yeah juz got 1 just now, the outlook is excellent, juz the zoom ring a bit loose, if can replace it cheap then would b perfect
