Welcome to the very first version of Super Sentai .....



The Super Sentai Series (スーパー戦隊シリーズ, Sūpā Sentai Shirīzu?) is the name given to the long running Japanese superhero team genre of shows produced by Toei Co., Ltd., Toei Agency and Bandai, and aired by TV Asahi ("Super" refers to their use of mecha, and "sentai" is the Japanese word for "task force" or, literally, "fighting squadron" and was also a term used for Japanese squadrons in World War II). The shows are of the tokusatsu genre, featuring live action characters and colorful special effects, and are aimed mainly at children. This series is one of the most prominent tokusatsu productions in Japan, alongside the Ultra Series, the Kamen Rider Series, and the Metal Hero Series, and is adapted in the United States as Power Rangers.

There's alot of Super Sentai Merchandises but among the favourites are DX Figures , SH Figuarts(still new I guess , LOL) , SRC Chogokins for your die-cast fetish !

i believe we had a Power Rangers thread before i just started watching Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, so so only compare to Kamen Rider

Sentai is 10x much better than Power Ranger in my opinion ... better storyline .. more episodes , ending is a happy one each episode after they defeated enemy ...

but have watched it since i was a kid starting with Maskman!

haha. i just finished Gekiranger and it was a blast.
currently watching Boukenger, Changeman, Zyuranger, GoGoV and Gokaiger.

so, ermmm....i think boukenger has a decent mecha design. really love Daibouken.

i think its a great thing to do.
imagine a kid getting a message from ur favourite toku hero.

it includes many actors in their respective role such as minami kotaro,
goseired, kamen rider blade and many others

but the sad thing is,i heard that gosei red home have been washed away by the tsunami
and until now he cant contact his family. yet at the same time, he give encouragement
words to all of the children.

Where do you guys usually get this DX toys , cant seem to find it

Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand. A lot of places I got my stuffs from.

Saw few boxes of GekiFire at Grafitti Toys at Times Square , price abt RM 200 ++ not sure whether is RM 298 or less

It is RM299.90. I once wanted to buy it but then later felt I should just buy the HK ver Jungle Master which I did at RM120 and Jungle Pride at RM120 also.

Mine is Samurai Sentai Shinkenger. Never thought my first sentai to be my favourite one and im loving the red sentai, Shinken-Red!

And I love his Super powered up weapons even more, and thus Super Mogyuu Bazooka. However, I don't have the Shodophone.

Luckily I am not an SHF fan or enthusiast yet on the matter. I still like Sentai Hero Series and PR type figures more due to budget constraints.

Don't like Sentai Robos in Super Robot Chogokin. Got articulation but loses all the transformations and stuffs.

Bandai should really think of transformation and articulation in one figure together , but DX will lose its popularity .. lol

So , I guess its a win win situation ...

It did open but because the locking part is too tough, you need to manually push it to lock.

In the show, all the other vehicles are stored inside the Gokai Galleon... Can the DX version do that??
