i really think arc will have better 2nd hand value because how many SE high end android are there? compared to samsung galaxy s family alone?
SE fan will hold the Arc highly.

moreover the design is very nice unlike each & every other top range android phone.
The camera is only second to N8
screen not the same as samoled, still better than standard lcd.

having said that, i would still trade in my arc when sgs2 available 

after 2 months, if can sell for atleast 1k is good enough for me (ap set)

i trade in captivate for arc 
bought arc to ease the tension waiting for sgs2.
futhermore, never used SE phone b4, only k618i many years back...
