Battery take some time to be optimize so give the some a week or two.

You can also calibrate battery by deleting batterystat.bin (require root)

Besides that, try battery doctor app from market, drain the phone till <20% then open the app and charge the phone till full.

correct.. i was about to mention the same thing..
batter needs to take around 3-5 time full cycle for it to perform at its best..
full cycle mean- fully drained and fully charged in 1 cycle
if u keep charging before it is 0% and unplug the phone before it reaches 100%...then u'll be lookin at a poor battery performance guaranteed..

wait.. i just noticed in the maxis ad, no extra memory card included?

but noticed one thing..the nexus s retail price at rm2499..2 yrs contract also rm1499..this one retail price should be rm2099..2 yrs contract also rm1499.. 

I have the Desire HD and will get the Arc as soon as it's available in the shops. Is it availabe in all shops already (ori set)?

Users complained about the Desire HD battery but it's quite good. Just use for a week or two and it gets much better.

For those new users and moderate users who want to extend the battery life:

1. Disable background data
2. Disable all auto sync
3. Fix the network to 2G
With moderate/low use, I can get 50 or more hours with the Desire HD. Since Xperia Arc (1500mAH) has larger battery capacity then Desire HD (1230mAH) and runs a more efficient Android 2.3... i think the Arc should have even better battery life.

I started the SGS II thread as I was " played out" by Clove UK who advised me I will get the phone in Mid March, than delay to end March and last date end April. Anyway I have cancelled the purchase with Clove as they has increased the price too with the delays. The SGS II will still be my flagship smartphone. Buying the Arc only for testing purposes - based on my last hands on at the preview it fell short compared to Incredible S - its plus is on camera/hdmi features

I just got the phone from alieamin's shop.

Like I said waaaaaayyyyyy back, when Calex was having his little discussion with me, don't look at the phone in isolation. Compare it to what else is available in the market.

This is a very nice phone, for sure, if you look at the leaflets and play with the demo set.

But if you consider the fact that the SGS, which is about equal in terms of performance, has been out for almost 1 year, and the fact that the dual-core SGS2 could be available as early as next month, suddenly you will realize the Arc isn't so exciting anymore. And that's not even considering the Motorola Atrix, which some forumers here are already using.

The point is, the Arc is a very nice phone, but so is the SGS and the DHD and the NS - and these are all phones of 2010.

Just because something is newer doesn't automatically make it better, learn that.

How do I enable "click" sound when typing/keypress on the keyboard? Can't find the setting.

right, should discuss pro & cons of phones..
havent played with mine yet..
still on 1st time charging..

but must say eventhough the shutter key is quite small & a little bit stiff,
still works well, better than none.

power button also very small, thanksfully can unlocked screen using the home key.

no 'auto adjust light'  , so had to use 100% brightness..

silver colour looks VERY nice, hopefully the skin wouldnt peeled off easily, as it looks so
