I have the Desire HD and will get the Arc as soon as it's available in the shops. Is it availabe in all shops already (ori set)?
Users complained about the Desire HD battery but it's quite good. Just use for a week or two and it gets much better. For those new users and moderate users who want to extend the battery life: 1. Disable background data 2. Disable all auto sync 3. Fix the network to 2G With moderate/low use, I can get 50 or more hours with the Desire HD. Since Xperia Arc (1500mAH) has larger battery capacity then Desire HD (1230mAH) and runs a more efficient Android 2.3... i think the Arc should have even better battery life. Thanks. |

QUOTE(Areas Elysian @ Apr 7 2011, 05:14 PM) You can't. Not with the default keyboard anyway. Okay, thanks. Just already a bit used to the typewriter sound on my Desire HD Try other keyboards out there? The one I'm using (paid app) can change the vibrate length as well as adding sounds when typing on the keyboard, although I don't use the latter. |

There is a crazy bug with custom ringtone. I use USB to transfer the mp3 files to the sdcard folder /ringtones/ and /notifications/
I can choose the custom ringtones I want ... BUT seems the phone will assign random default ringtones after reboot! PS: This bug seems to appear in Nexus S as well.. so it's a Gingerbread issue? (no such problem with my Desire HD) This post has been edited by hsyong: Apr 8 2011, 10:31 PM |
